I am here only off and on these last couple of months or so.. I lose track of who's around and who's not, and am always surprised by all the new faces.

Is Pami not doing JUDDD calorie cycling any longer?

It makes me so sad when we lose people, but it's even rougher when nobody knows why.
You guys are so sweet- I had no idea all these posts were here until Kissa
bumped up this thread today, and I went thru and read it all. I guess it wasn't
really fair to just drop off the face of JUDDD, but I had been having trouble
with some people here and on the tracking site, and decided to just get away
from them for a while. So I left and concentrated on school and not smoking
(will be 17 months on Saturday), and figured I'd try this later.
DBF went to a Dr. appt. in March, and said his blood pressure, blood sugar,
cholesterol and weight are all UP, so he's going back to LC. That was my cue,
so I'm back. Stay tuned for more charts, since that is my M.O.

Mind if I jump in? I'm not doing JUDDD, but I've got a big bouncing ball.

This is current as of last week, though it's bounced back up in the last couple of days, as per normal.

Don't mind a bit- in fact, it goes to show that the bouncing isn't limited to JUDDD

Oh, good point!

I have periods where I eat exactly the same thing day in, day out, and my weight still fluctuates the same. I've learned that this is just how my body is, and I can't take it personally, or assume that this morning's weight is a direct result of yesterday's food.

It did look a bit as if we were stalking you Pami. But we are a bit of a family here. I am truly glad you quit smoking, congratulations.

Ntombi, that is some chart, wow. It is so important to accept the bounce. I have known people quit after a couple of weeks, especially if they are weekly weighers, because the loss isn't linear.

'Normal' people see this kind of thing too, or they would if they ever bothered to weigh. Like my DH, he steps on the scales about once a year.

I should be posting in the Newbies. I've been Juddding for three weeks. I started with a bit of inflammation so I was dealing with a spike of 5 lbs. So after two weeks, I lost it. I was back to my comfort zone. I have been weighing only after DDs. I have been either down a pound or stayed the same.
I was shocked when I am up 5 lbs today. The only thing I can think of is I did have two new foods. One was riddled with soy. I think that is my nemesis.
For the past three weeks, I have been ecstatic with JUDDD. I have been exercising a ton, socializing on my UDs, laying low on my DDs. I was finally feeling like a normal person after dealing with spikes, correction days & fat fasts.
Okay. I guess I will just start the process over again bc I am basically back to where I started three weeks ago.

If you have been sticking with you UD/DD numbers and doing rotations I would try not to worry. The bounce is a normal part of juddd.

Check this out The daily bounce doesn't rock my world (anymore)

Huh. The last graph I posted was almost exactly a year ago. Here's the current version.

And I'm still eating the same.

Me too. I'm about to get up for the day and when I get on the scale, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a huge bounce. It'll be okay, though!
