Australia seems to have quite a lot of 'low carb' stuff available now - but in my opinion, it's not that low carb - if you know what I mean!!!

Perhaps try and think of your own shakes - it may sound disgusting - but the egg creams (there are various thread) are really tasty. You could play with the recipes to get the cals down to an acceptable level:

Basically
Raw Egg
Coffee
Cream
Sweetener ( or a Da Vinci Syrup - you can buy them in Starbucks - SF version - and a few other places, or on line - and although expensive - a little goes a long way!)

You could perhaps use some light cream - or yoghurt or almond milk or SF soy milk instead.

Good luck.

Thanks Kissa x

I have retained a lot of good habits from my LC days, i.e flax muffins are a regular part of my diet, exercise and drinking loads of water, I feel that if I can get the eating right everything else will fall into place. UDDD seems like a common sense approach, although the book hasn't arrived yet but I'll read it and cherry pick the best bits.

I did get the book, but most of the info was here already. Quite a lot of the Uk gang on the main board do it too, Blondie Baby has lost 20 kgs with it, MintQ8, my daughter is doing it, Mimosa too though she has gone quiet lately, , and two or three others that have come along after your time.

I find it so freeing.

I was in Australia last month for the first time and the grocery store seemed like LC heaven! (Although I didn't look too closely at the items... I did however buy erythritol-sweetened hot chocolate mix)

Hey Avicenna, back from your trip. LC nightmare over here & even when you can find some meagre offerings its so expensive. It would be great to have a better selection here.

Great LC Frankenfood here - but things in the UK that don't have a lot of sugar have a lot of sugar in here!! Things like Hot Dogs and Soy Milk - all very odd!!
