I ran the recipe off but never have bacon on hand. BUT I also have a breakfast cookie recipe I have been wanting to try that also has bacon in it so I am buying bacon today to make two desserts. How strange does that sound?

we decided to just call it "chocolate bacon cake" and describe the rest when we bring the dessert tray around! It has been selling well with great reviews!

I make little almond meal pancake balls with maple extract and a piece of crisp bacon in the center all the time in my babycakes maker. maple glaze. nom

I used up my bacon in my Breakfast cookie recipe so I have never bought anymore so have not made this yet. No time now so it will have to wait until summer.

We did end up just calling it Chocolate Bacon Cake. The servers bring the dessert tray to each table and describe them. I was surprised by how many people were like "yuck bacon" ??? But many more still are trying it and liking it!
