The one positive thing I like most:

How flat my stomach looks and feels the morning after a DD!

I feel an incredible calm and what feels like a high. It usually hits me in the midafternoon. It also seems to be more noticeable on days with fewest calories.

I am new and just been on plan about a week but I already can tell that I LOVE DD. I don't even thing the 'magic' has kicked in.

I think my favorite parts are:

Not having to think about food.
Starting to enjoy the feeling of being empty rather than avoiding that feeling

My favorite part of a DD is the knowledge that participating regularly with these rotations is transforming my life. I have lost weight that I have been carrying for a long time, but more importantly, my overall health is dramatically improved. I feel very, very different than I did just a few short months ago. My life is so much more enjoyable! And I have something that I haven't had for a while......HOPE.

Thank you, terrific JBs! you!

Well, I started this thread and it caught my eye as I'm getting ready to come back to JUDDD. Again.

As many of my JUDDD BUDDDs know, I've struggled since my surgery last year to lose more than 3-4 lbs. Before the surgery I had finally begun losing doing a combo of low carb and JUDDD.

I began a new start this year (non-low carb and definitely not my first go 'round with JUDDD), and after 4 months, had lost nothing more than the 4 lbs. Okay, I did lose almost 6, but it came back in the blink of an eye.

I haven't posted since probably the beginning May as I took a break and tried WW (again). Went back to JUDDD, although I didn't post. I had been wanting to get back to low carbing and after a discussion with my oh-so-patient husband (he listens to my dieting issues weekly ), he casually said, so why don't you do low carb and JUDDD again? Now, even though I'd done it before and wanted to do it again, it wasn't until he said the words that I banged my forehead and thought, "um, yeah!".

So, short story long .. I'm not JUDDD'ing at the moment, but an concentrating on eating low carb and will begin JUDDD'ing again in a few days to a couple of weeks.

Another big pull is that I'm so freaking tired of having to fix food everyday! Ironic that just as wonderful as it is to wake up and an UD and go yeehaw I getta eat today! is the oh goodie I don't haveta worry about fixing food today! on a DD.

Vanilla, So positive! Glad you are back! miss Sophie, Luna, Wren, SoHappy, Sher and quite a few others that I did not always communicate with personally but followed their threads! Funny you should talk about LC, I just analysed my data and figured out that I lost most weight on LC JUDDD + exercise! So, I am going back to Lowish Carb and really watch my DD calories.

Welcome back home, Nilla! It's so great to see you back!!! I am also one who does much better with JUDDD when I limit carbohydrates. I know it's better for my body, too. I am glad your hubby is so supportive and has great thoughts!!!

Thank you, ladies!

I've gotten back into the low carb swing pretty well. I do have a mini-vacation coming up this week (hence me waiting to begin JUDDD again until next week) and am going to try my best to remain low carb, but not beat myself up if I partake of a something carby.

I'm happy to report that even just getting back to eating lc, my appetite is greatly diminished and my mind doesn't revolve around food. Which is yet another thing I love when the Sirt gene kicks in.

What a joy to see your handle and then read you are joining in again, vanilla. You were here when I showed up so it makes me happy to see you! You were here when life happened and I had lost my maintenance way later, and gained, and was working hard on my DDs! You said such encouraging things.

A very good thing about DDs is seeing vanilla posting on the daily threads!

Great thoughts here - good posts.

Mine too, Sirtain! It's such a relief not to have to clean for a day! I love the extra free time since there's barely any cooking or clean up. More lounging time on my patio!

I also like that if I'm tired on a DD, I feel like I have a good excuse to just rest and not try to push myself to do more.

And I LOVE looking at the scale after a DD!

My positive is getting things done. I try to stay busy doing things on my DD's and when I take breaks and sip my green tea it gives me a good feeling looking at my clean house. It makes me really enjoy a relaxing evening when I'm ready to have my meal for the day and feel good about all I've done.

Totally! One of my complaints before starting JUDDD was that I was so tired of trying to come up with creative dinner ideas. Now, I only have to think about it half of the time! I still have to make something for the family on DDs, but that just gives them an excuse to have something I wouldn't normally eat anyway!

The flip side is trying to decide what goes down the pie hole when I look at all the food we have on an UD!!
