Does it work this fast?
I just started JUDDDing last Monday but as soon as last Saturday I was experiencing a loss of appetite and last night, which was an UP day I found that I really couldn't eat much at all. I know I need to eat on the UP days but I was having to force it down and was almost to the point of upchucking.
I don't feel bad otherwise so I don't think I've pick a bug or anything, I actually feel great just don't want to eat. |

For some I think it does. I've had to re-learn how to choose those higher calorie foods on my UDs (that were previously taboo) to get those calories in so I didn't have to eat so much when I really didn't want to.

You bet.. I noticed that right off with a few DD.. I was shocked i was not hungry..And trying to eat at a scheduled time was worked for me,, almost like taking medicine for your body every two to four hours.. weather i was hungry or not.. eating a set schedule got to my up day calories till i found things like nuts, peanut butter, and atkins bar have like 200 cals in a small bar,, i made it my task for the day so i got used to eaitng like that.. Then when i decided to continue my DD fast thru the day day and eat when i got hungry,, welll that was a mistake!! I was not giving my self enough hours in the day to eat that many caloires and had to hurry up and eat a huge meal at the end of the day and it put me to sleep like 2 hours before bed time.. So play with your food, figure out what works best, and rember,, you goto eat!!!

some of us have bodies that grab onto intermittent fasting like a life raft from the beginning, others take some time to get the SIRT1 kicked in.
Isn't it wonderful? that appetite suppression and energy feels so good! |

I have been at this WOE for about 3 weeks now... appetite suppression is not kicking in yet. Yesterday... i could not keep to my 396... I blew it by at least 150 calories, but I knew I was HUNGRY not just munching. I think everyone is just different.

Maybe it's my imagination, but perhaps I'm there as well. Yesterday was my first UD and I could barely squeeze in the calories needed and found myself having toast and peanut butter at 11 p.m. I'll definitely have to start planning my days as mentioned - perhaps a scheduled meal plan is best for me.

I generally never have trouble eating, and even have to restrict myself on some of my UDs, but there are definitely times when I'm just not hungry and it still surprises me.

I am finding that too.. on both UD and DD there are days when Im full after just a small amount other days when I could eat my house...
Enjoy them both... because its working K |
