Jumping into JUDD!
So excited to be here! :hiya:

I'm new to posting; hope I did this right.

Thanks to the wonderful HcgDieters Yahoo group, I lost 20 pounds via hcg -- ending the diet the day before Thanksgiving (that's what I call timing!). Since then, I've struggled to stabilize. I'm at 147#. The low end of my last weigh-in was 141; I'd like to get back down to that (at least); I hope JUDD will be a forever WOE for me.

Today was my first DD (at 500 calories) which was a piece of cake (after all those 500-calorie days on the hcg diet). I just read today, though, on the johnsonupdaydowndaydiet website that I should have started at the 25% weight loss mode? (which would have put me at 458 calories). :dunno:

Welcome!!!! So glad you had a great first day!!!

Dr J said 500 to start for the first 2 weeks is ok. So your still ok!! If you can eat less by all means go ahead!!

Lots of folks hang out around 500 cals for DD's - and especially right at the beginning - you are just fine! WELCOME!

Don't panic about a few calories. Many of us start and stay around 500 cals/DD and lose at a rate we find most acceptable. After the sirtuin enzymes kick in, you can adjust your DD cals if you decide you want to. Many of us only adjust if weight loss & inches loss stalls and it becomes clear our metabolism needs the reduction.

As a post HCGer, I understand the jump from LDW.......was very frustrating and then I found JUDDD! I was in my 4th month of P4 when I started.

Am steadily maintaining and it still amazes me!

Hang tight and ask questions because the gals here are the friendliest and most non-judgmental group I've encountered!

Welcome! I, too, lost weight with hCG but had trouble stabilizing. JUDDD has taken me below my goal and I've been maintaining easily. It's been absolutely amazing! You're going to love it!
