Another Rewind.......Easter Candy!!!
YES.....us JUDDD BUDDDs can now have EASTER CANDY, if we so choose to, again this year!! It's been so long since I had Cadbury hard shell eggs or reeses eggs, or snickers eggs, or peeps, just to name a few of my favs. that my mouth is just for all the great little candies I'm asking the Easter Bunny to put in my little basket this year!I will not go hog wild, but just knowing I can have this stuff this year after years of saying, I USE to have it and I can't now, is happiness in itself!! ![]()

I had a cadbury cerements egg. It was good, but not as good as the British ones. Stupid American chocolate.

As I mentioned on Dotties "Egg Fast"
thread, I enjoy a yearly creme egg. Unfortunately, they don't seem as big or as tasty as when I was a kid. ![]() I don't think I have any Easter candy that I MUST have. I'm not a Peep person, not gaga over the little chocolate or malt eggs... perhaps as more people list things I will zero in on one I'm not thinking of that I must have. Editing: I just looked through a local drugstore flier and saw something new and hard to resist - Hot Tamales jelly beans!!! I have to stay away from hot tamales as it is because I find them hard to stop eating. I can only imagine if I got a bag of these beans, lol.

The thing I love about this plan is it takes away the forbidden food theme. I was in Target walking through the Easter candy isle and thinking about what treat I might get. Then it hit me and hit me hard...
-- there was nothing there I really wanted. (I should put this on the non-scale victory thread). I walked away not getting anything. OMGNow, I wasn't walking through See's candy however. If I was in there and that big yummy bordeux egg was staring back at me, I might have taken her home. ![]() ![]()

I know!!! Even if I haven't been Low carbing - I wouldn't have an easter egg (partly because they couldn't be found in Salalah, where I used to live!!)
About 10 days ago I bought a dark chocolate mint egg (like the cream eggs) and it's still in the fridge!!! As is my delicious chilli chocolate (should have remembered that - that would have helped get my cals up today!!!) |

Yipper!!!! I remember in Easter's past, I would have none of the delights, especially the jelly beans, and I love them thangs!! So this year, I will be partaking and I am so looking forward to that!!! But I have also noticed that now that I am doing JUDDD, I don't really go overboard with cakes, sweets, things like that, not like I used to, and I'm thinking that my DDs have something to do with that. I know that I am starting to sound like a broken record, but -- I LOVE JUDDD!!!

I just started yesterday but made darn sure I had Easter marked as an UP day (started with a DD yesterday per counting back), I NEED Cadbury hard shelled eggs (one small bag will hit the spot). I dared my 10 year old to eat a whole Cadbury egg (cream filled middle) in one go, he bit into it and said "TOO SWEET!!!" and whimped out, he was impressed when I ate the rest of it though...
. We have also had microwaved Peep Bunnies, throw one in the microwave for 30 seconds then eat, they taste like toasted marshmallows! YUM!!!!![]()

OMG! IF you love dark chocolate and you love LINDT, you absolutely must try Chocolove! It is by far my fav chocolate ever!!! Chocolove produces two delicious certified organic chocolate bars: 61% cocoa content and 73% cocoa content. It is truly unbelievable that it is made in the US and they are the only chocolate company to use this process here in the states. Chocolove chocolate is ground finer and conched longer than most chocolates to provide a smooth texture and a smooth flavor. The bars have higher cocoa content which translates to less sugar than other chocolates. I am addicted to the Dark Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt bar! ![]()

I found them at my local Whole Foods, but if you go to the their website, (google Chocolove), they have a storefinder link. I am telling you, I am a dark choc connoisseur and these are to die for!!! I am a fiend, I tell ya!
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, and I forgot to add each bar gives you a love poem on the inside wrapper. ![]() I am always gifting my cook, hairdresser, & manicurist and they go NUTS for them! One bar costs 1.65, so I make them last a few days. |

It says that you can order online also and I did find the Sea Salt & Almond on Amazon. It is pricier if you go this route, but for me, personally, I would do this if I couldn't find it locally. Can ya tell I am addicted? Oh, and they make many other flavors, "Orange Peel in Dark Chocolate"
"Coffee Bean in Dark Chocolate" "Dark Chocolate & Cherry" dreamy...From their website~ Chocolove uses premium Belgian and French chocolate to produce top-quality, small-batch chocolate bars. Chocolove was founded to offer distinctly-flavored chocolate bars using superior ingredients and traditional techniques of Europe’s finest chocolatiers. |

ACK- I don't do Peeps- so this graphics-intensive site detailing unspeakable Peep-abuse
is especially pleasing to me. I post this every year somewhere- you guys are just this year's unfortunate recipients. ![]() Last edited by Pami; 03-27-2012 at 02:53 PM.. |

It never mattered what diet I was on, I always break for a Cadbury Cream Egg at Easter. The tradition will continue.
