Maintenance Question?

For those of you in maintenance, how closely do you track you food? I'm almost to goal and when I get there, I plan on eating mostly low carb because that's what I feel best on and maintain on.

I figure after a while, I'll get used to eating a certain way and only eat when hungry. For those most part, I'm better off eating veggies, protein and fat.

Anyone? I'm curious. TIA!

I have to track pretty carefully on my DDs. I try to stay under 700 and generally come in between 500 and 650.

On UDs I only track because I am interested. I don't worry if I have an UUAD as I am confident that if I keep up my rotations I will continue to maintain with no trouble.

I don't Low Carb any more so I think I have to check calories a bit more carefully on DDs because I am not that confident that I know the calories counts of stuff.

Start Date: Aug 2011/I've been maintaining since April 2012
Not very carefully lately. I'm doing 800 cal DD and 1600 cal UD (not including the past week of vacation when I just had FD=free day, where I didn't count at all). My bigger problem is not getting enough on an UD, so I have to keep track to make sure I get them in.

If I eat naturally to hunger, I usually settle around 1200 cals. But that will slow my metabolism, and I'm not going there again.

Considering I've lost 2 pounds in this past week eating whatever I wanted and not tracking at all, I'm pretty happy with this "maintenance". LOL
