So Far...I'm liking this!
 
OK, it's only been 9 days...5 DD's...but so far I"m liking the JUDDD thing. I've lost 3 pounds, and I've actually been able to do the DD thing without too much trouble. Of course, I'm doing about 1000 cal/day for DD's; I want to lose 10-15 pounds, and in the past I've never been able to eat even as low as 1200 calories/day when dieting, so I figured I'd start with the 45% level. I'm surprised I've been able to stick pretty close to the 1000, and the UD's (2300 cal) are fun but I don't go as wild as I did when I was eating whatever I wanted every day. I used to do LC, so my DD's end up pretty high fat/LC, which seems to work best for me. And I love the "I can eat that tomorrow" feeling..and sometimes I don't even end up eating it on the UD. Also, I seem to have a lot of energy...is this an effect of JUDDD, or just a happy coincidence?

Anyway, I'm really glad I found this eating plan!
(Oh, and I need to change my signature but can't remember how...current stats are 150/147/135)

Thanks for the support! (and gotsomeold, thanks...it's done now!) I'm very surprised by the energy and had no expectation of it...I remember being really tired whenever I'd restrict calories in the past--but they were restricted every day, of course, not alternating days. Sophiethecat, I like your comment in your signature about not banning any foods, since I banned sugar for 11 years (until I found out Splenda impairs thyroid function, and I'm hypothyroid!). So now nothing is banned, which is refreshing but a bit scary...or it was until I found JUDDD. Now....I think I will enjoy having no banned foods!

Onward to tomorrow's UD!

I have decided I am DD addict! :love: I get the best buzz off of the tummy rumbles & extra energy! If my tummy growls it is really makes me happy! :up:
