Stomach Pains
Hi Everyone,
I am on my fourth week of JUDDD. The first two weeks were great. I lost weight and was feeling really good. Around the middle of last week, I had an awful case of what felt like food poisoning. I woke up in the middle of the night and threw up several times (this was following an UD). Ever since then, I've been having sharp stomach pains on UD and mild stomach pains on DD. I think it comes down to, whenever I eat something, I ache about an hour later. I'm not sure if this is something JUDDD related or something else. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms? |

Sorry you're going through this!
I don't know that it's JUDDD related, but it does sound like something you need to go to the doctor for and get checked out. |

I'd check with your doctor to make sure. The lingering effects of food poisoning can last a long time, but it could be viral or bacterial and you'd need to be treated to make sure you get rid of it.
Hope you feel better! |

I third the advice to get it checked out. It may be nothing, but better safe than sorry.

I haven't had this issue, but I'm really sorry that you are having to deal with it.
I would go to the Dr. Does it seem to happen with any particular food? Or just food in general? Are you going to the bathroom regularly? Have you had any issues in the past...like reflux or gall bladder issues? Where is the pain? What does it feel like? |

I agree, check with your Doctor.
My stomach hurts if I add Apple Cider Vinegar, more so on a DD. You may also need to add probiotics. If your flora is out of whack, it can cause all manner of problems. |

Way too much time on my hands!

If you are eating a lot of fiber foods now, but didn't before, I do know some folks run into problems until they get used to that. Or if there is much of any large change and difference in the makeup of your diet, more or less fat, lots more protein than you're used too.. differences of that kind, it can affect some folks. I know coconut oil did a number on me when I first tried to add it into my diet! But my actual thought is that you ran into some gastro bug, and it made you sick, and it really also make your innards experience a *flair up*.. and that is what you are still dealing with. Try to eat mostly foods that my mom always said were Gentle Foods On Your Tummy. Whatever those might be for you as best you remember. Hope you feel lots better real soon.

Betty!I vote with the majority. Everywhere I have read, I have never seen your symptoms mentioned as being related to JUDDD. Call your doctor. And let us know how you are!! |
