I don't think my cough drops are sugar free. I had to take one before my class this morning because I have to be able to talk. I'm going to walgreens now to get a bag of sf cough drops & more saline and see if I can find something to help me keep my voice through a 3 hour class tonight.... yes I'm the teacher!
Whenever I lose my voice (typically 1-2 x's/yr), my students end up whispering to me. Kinda annoying and funny, but at least it makes for a quiet class since they're all working so hard just to hear me. Lol! Of course, I'm talking about 8th graders here.

Good luck!

UD here...I am supposed to aim for ~1800. However, as it is my birthday, I have declared today a free day. No, I'm not in maintenance...I've still got about 40lbs to go, so I'm not even close. But oh well!

Newbie's, do as I say, not as I do....Free Days are only for maintenance. I'm being naughty today.

Oh and by the way I had chilli and rice for dinner and, for health reasons and to save money on Resveratrol, my share of a nice bottle of Shiraz.

Probably well over 2,000 cals again. But I am maintaining 4 lbs under my goal, how is this possible?

Oh, I intend to "need" them! Thanks for the offer!

We're going to a fancy Italian place for dinner. I shall post the gory details later in the "it's Monday" thread.

The guys went out for sandwiches, so I had a pastrami/swiss with a lovely side salad with jalapeno aioli. OMG it was good!! Hoping I estimated my calories close enough!

Change of menu, I was on plan until hubby came home, then we went out for a delicious hibachi stir-fry meal - it was veggies and shrimp, but I think I got close to my UD numbers, and I'm so full anyway, so passing on the popcorn and orange - DD and I are heading to Curves later on for a great workout, yes!!

I had an UD planned because it's my birthday. For the record, I completely agree that birthday calories don't count! Just realised that today I've eaten homemade soup for lunch and cake when I got home. The soup was so freakin' filling that I'm not actually hungry but I got some beautiful cod loin and I'm bloomin' well going to eat it. We're going out to my favorite restaurant on Sunday...I wonder if those calories will count since it's technically still birthday food....

Absolutely not...birthday food does not have to be eaten on one's actual birthday. If it's eaten in celebration of your birthday then, by definition, it's birthday food.

Ok...so for dinner we went to Biaggi's (if anyone is familiar with this place...kinda fancy Italian fare). Dinner alone today cost me an estimated 1400 calories. Holy cr@p! But I AM HAVING A FREE DAY, so I am not going to freak out.

Appy: a couple of calamari, 2 slices of artisan bread dipped in oil/Parmesan
Salad: wedge salad...dripping in homemade blue cheese dressing, tomatoes and bacon (THE best salad ever!!)
Entree: shrimp/crab cannelloni in lobster sauce (only ate 1 out of 3)
Dessert: key lime pie
Drink: Italian cream soda (lots of calories in that sucker, as it turns out!)

I am over 2800 along with all of my other birthday indiscretions.

La-la-la-la-la....I'm not listening to you! I can't hear you! I'm not looking at you! I don't see you!
