I dug into my spring/summer clothes box

And realized I need to shop!

I started losing my weight Aug 2011, so by the time I needed new clothes, I bought fall/winter stuff. 3/4 of the items put away last fall don't fit me. I used the "if you can take the pants off without unbuttoning them they are too big" rule of thumb.

I'm ok on t-shirts, but need shorts, capris, nice tops and a spring skirt or 2.

Fun!

Doesn't that feel GOOD?

I have two bags of clothes ready to be donated. And, some cool shirts I bought years and years ago because I loved them( and hoped would fit some day) are about five pounds away.

Just did this with spring tops! All of them were too big and now in a bag for goodwill!

And I found the only problem with shopping for new spring clothes was I couldn't find enough smalls and mediums in the things I liked! When I was a large/xlarge I use to only find smalls and mediums!

Have fun shopping and when you bring your old clothes to goodwill look around, you just may find some great clothes to take home!

Yes on Goodwill! I just went there Friday and found 2 lightweight, short-sleeved, soft sweaters. They are identical except for the colors, which are perfect for spring. One is a light lime green, the other, a robin-egg blue.

Goodwill.

It's a good problem to have.

I replaced my wardrobe several times last year with the majority coming from the thrift store & consignment shop. I've been looking for a few 'spring-ish' items now because last spring I was still wearing larger sizes. I need to go through my closet though and get rid of some things that I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of. I need the room now. LOL

Yeah, congrats and awesome hard work!! You give me inspiration!! I can't wait to be in you shoes. I'm down almost 30 lbs. But my clothes still fit. Technically don't fall down with them buttoned. But not tight and not baggy. I did wash and dry all my clothes on HOT and HOT when I used to wash in cold and barely dry...

Hoping to hold off until down another 20 and get some stuff to fit thru summer.

I did hit the thrift store Sat and got 3 tops and a pair of capris, so that helps. It's the only thrift store in our town though, so will try to find more when I visit my mom.

I know we all do what we got to do, but I am not sure I could survive with only one thrift store!

Don't you just feel so great?!?! But, at the same time sad? I all my clothes and there are just some things that I wish fit me even when I was thinner.

I wanna go shopping with you though....I shopping!

sa

Def sad about some of the things I can't wear. 2 springs ago, my mom took me on a shopping spree for my birthday and I got some things I just LOVE, that I can no longer wear.

Today found 2 tops--but dd is the one we were really looking for (shop was more geared to teens--so mostly junior sizes, and I'm not junior proportioned on the bottom anymore. We'll hit another store with women's sizes later in the week.

Some things can be altered to a new size...just a thought!

How fun to read that you have to get smaller clothing. LOL

I don't always get onto the JUDDD forum as much lately, so wanted to ask.. how are you adapting to your particular diet now. I remember there were several foods that you were going to avoid, at least for awhile here, and I wanted to know if you were feeling better and thought your diet was making your tummy feel better. Hoping so.
