2nd DD and I'm sick

Yes I'm still going to do my down day because I don't feel like eating so I might as well as stick to the plan.

Trying to figure out how many calories are in walgreen's version of non-drowsy Dayquil.

93 calories in 2T dayquil liquid is all I can find.
But, I personally wouldn't worry too much about that aspect of it. If you're sick, just do what you need to feel better .

sterling you're info was for the pills, so it's correct
I didn't know if she was taking the liquid or the pills, so my info was all I can find for the liquid (I think they guard that info better than KFC's chicken recipe!).

Hope you feel better! I have some sugar-free Robitussin when I Googled it says zero calories, nevertheless I am taking whatever will make me get rid of this.

WOE: LC for ME!
For some strange reason we have a cold & flu med that is for diabetics. I probably bought it one time while low carbing. after my tea I'm going to check the expiration and take it.

and then go back to bed maybe.

PLEASE.....don't worry about calories in medicines when we are sick and supplements we take to keep us well.

I just believe that these things (especially when we are sick) just need to be taken AND also we need to eat if you want to, or not.

Listen to your body and do what will make it well. Calorie counting can wait a few days!!

Feel better soon!

Normally I wouldn't care about the meds, but since we had the sugar free one I took that. If we didn't have it, I would be taking the dayquil.

Feel better!!

I think there have been 3 weeks in 2012 that I have NOT had some kind of
upper respiratory gunk going on. My sympathies are with you.
I know being sick slows down the losing- I can only imagine what I might
have lost had I been well!!

That is funny!

I remember when I was first really heavy into LC I was worried about the carbs I may absorb from my toothpaste

I found this on livestrong:

Nutritional Facts

A typical serving of NyQuil liquid has 93 calories, 35mg of sodium and 19g of total carbohydrate, including 13g of sugar.

When you're only eating 500 calories, 93 a shot adds up quick! So glad I had the other stuff,

And that blog is SO FUNNY!

Ok I have a piece of left over balsamic chicken in the fridge. By all my searching it turns out that boneless chicken breasts have about 30 calories per ounce. I did not flour the chicken, I seasoned it, browned it & then make the balsamic sauce which is Balsamic vinegar, chicken broth & some splenda to make it a little sweeter.

DH took the kids to McDonalds (all 3 wanted shamrock shakes) and will be eating it there. His penance for going to there when I'm on a DD is a trip to the grocery store for low/no calorie dressing & the light laughing cow cheese you guys rave about.

I'd really rather have my chicken then McDonalds, just trying to figure out what to have with it.

You know how they say "there are no stupid questions"?
Back when I started, sugar waxing was popular so I asked if you absorbed the sugar from the wax.
Proving "they" are wrong
