Primal/Paleo and JUDDD

I was wondering if there is anyone that is primal/Paleo that follows JUDDD? I love Paleo and how it makes me feel, but I haven't lost any weight on it (I'm only ten pounds from goal). I'd appreciate any feedback anyone can give me

JUDDD can be done "anyway your heart desires" because there are no food limits at all. Eat what you want, how you want, when and if you want. As long as you stick to your UD and DD calorie numbers you will be GOLDEN!!

COME OVER TO THE "DARK SIDE" and give it a try.....YOUR WAY!!

WOE: Primal as of Aug 2011/JUDDD (started 1/13/12)
Start Date: Aug 2011/I've been maintaining since April 2012
I am. There are a few of us here.

I only had about 3 pounds to lose when I came to JUDDD. I'd already lost 20 on paleo. I didn't lose them fast, and it was a bit frustrating. But I also did some experimenting with carbs early on (and found my body doesn't do well with them). I was also recently diagnosed with allergies to dairy and eggs. Since I've eliminated those, I've lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks, without really trying.

I am maintaining easily and am finding my metabolism is healing. I had stalled with paleo, and was only eating about 1100 cals/day. Now I can have 800 DD and 1600 UD, and my weight doesn't really budge from 128.

The appetite suppression I get from paleo makes DD's much easier, but it can make it hard to get in all of my UD calories.

Give it a try. You can do JUDDD eating however you want that feels good to you.

I am Paleo/Primal and JUDDD. I love the way I feel on this WOE. Once every so often, I have a carbfest, but usually my carbs are less than 50 and on DD less than 20. It is very fun!

Count me in and add low to VLC carbs into the mix! I just realized I am eating nearly 60 g carbs on my UD and my weight loss has reversed :-( So back to what I know works better. But no reason at all you can't do this and Primal with great success.

Another Primal JUDDDer here
My losses have been painfully slow, but that's the story of my weightloss life in general. Before JUDDD I wasn't losing at all for nearly a year.
Primal down days are very easy now because I nearly fast throughout mid-day. I liberally apply the 80/20 Primal "rule" to indulge on Up days from time to time.

Wow! There's lot of you guys I'm very encouraged. I'm short and the ten pounds that I want to lose are semi-vanity pounds (I'm 132 and want to get back down to 122). I think I'll try to figure out my calorie ranges and begin next Monday. I'll admit that I've only counted calories a handful of times in my life and I'm not looking forward to that. Maybe I'll make a list of my favorite meals, figure out the calories in those and work around that...

ETA - Thank you!

Emily!

Pre-planning calories in favorite meals and individual foods is a huge help. I have lists that travel with me. (I have a bad habit of suddenly realizing it is 3PM on an UD and all I 'eaten' is 4 teaspoons of hwc in coffee )

I'd like to mesh these 2, as well. Does anyone have a menu or food journal they'd share so I can get ideas?

There are daily "what are you eating" threads here you can look at. I post my weekly dinner menus in the Menu forum (link in my signature line).
