UD & DD Cycle and Events

As most/all of you know I am on my second week of JUDDD. I have an event on Sunday (counsel retreat with pizza served) and on the 17th my niece's birthday party. What I am wondering is that both events fall on DD.

So far I have been able to work in my DD to things, but wondering about these.

What do you do in those situations?

Throw in a medium day (about 1/2 way between the calories of your up and down days) then make tomorrow an UP day and cycle as usual so your Sunday is an UP day.

OK Dottie, so if I am understanding it today would be medium day, tomorrow an up day, sat a DD and Sunday then an UP?

Dottie answered you perfectly. I ended up having to do a medium day because I was sick on a UD and just couldn't eat more. I was so disappointed! (Who ever heard of me not being able to eat? )

Just an FYI, some people have said that Medium days can stall you. I don't know the answer as I've only had one and I was sick (sickness has been said to stall too). So, my advice is to use them when you need them, but don't do them all the time, unless you find out that they work for you. Then, well...nevermind.

I'm glad that you like this community. I love it! The people really are so nice and helpful!

DD80 - thanks, I will only use them as I need to. I think it would stall me or deter me from goal.

Going to CA in June so gotta get this body ready for it!

I was up a little more on calories than I should of yesterday on MD. Today is UD. I am tracking everything, I really find ease with ************ to use. Been faithfully tracking which is a first for me.

I can't express enough about how much I love this WOE. Love being able to look at a recipe and say I can make that for UD. Also how wonderful you all are on here.

I think I will start a journal as I would like a daily "check in" with ups and downs of this journey.

I'm glad you love it! I love it for the same reasons! It is so nice to be like, "oh, I can eat that." Once you take away the forbideness away from certain foods, I don't feel the need to shovel them down my gullet.

I'm throwing in a MD day today (was trying to decide between today and Monday - but I'm only at 1100 at 6pm - so I'll have a couple of hundred cals for dinner tonight). As I need Tuesday to be an UD. I then am going to have to do another next Saturday - because I'm playing on Saturday - but going to the wineries on Sunday next week!

It's too many - but it's better than 2 UD in a row - which I was going to do!!
