I could live on sashimi and sushi. And I love wasabi! I actually have powdered wasabi here at work and put it in stuff all the time.

It is odd that I hate Wasabi, I love chillies and English horseradish. I don't like English Mustard either though.

FD dinner.

Just had some smelt! I think the first time I'd ever heard of it was when I found it in the frozen fish section at Walmart. I'm always up for trying something new, and the 1# bag was cheap and the fish were already cleaned, so I bought it. Just got it out tonight and fried it real crispy and brown. Texture and flavor - I would say it's like eating a homemade fish stick.

If anyone's interested, I rinsed them, thawed and drained them. Beat 2 eggs, 2 T. water, 1 T. Old Bay and 2-1/2 t. salt. Dipped the smelt by the handful in the egg, then coated in a mix of 1/2 flour to 1/2 corn meal + 1 T. Old Bay. Fried in a skillet in batches, in a mix of hot evoo and butter. When good and browned and crispy, I removed them to a plate with a paper towel and sprinkled on more Old Bay.

Well today ended up being a high MD at about 1350 calories because my grandmother brought over her stuffed peppers and I couldn't turn them down and hurt her feelings.
Not sure if tomorrow will be a DD to compensate or an UD - will depend on the scale in the morning.

I'm not a huge wasabi fan...one of my favorite rolls comes with sriracha sauce.

As for my day, I had the cottage cheese and stuff and the berries and chocolate, but I will not be eating the other half of my sandwich or potatoes. I've conservatively estimated my calories to be 1500 so far. I'll just have a few glasses of wine tonight and call it a day. I'm not going to force it.

Is JUDDD really starting to work it's magic? Why am I not hungry on UDs? I don't recognize myself! Yesterday, I was hungry, as it was a DD, but was ok in the evening as long as I didn't smell any food. I was so happy today was a UD and after breakfast, I could have cared less about lunch. WHO AM I?
