I'm going to do my 3rd DD/FD in a row where I have a DD until at least 5 p.m. before switching to FD. Normally I'd go on and have a FD the next day too, but the last three days I've been shaking things up a little. :) Besides, I've been eating more than enough food in the 5 hour window of my FD evenings. So, less wine and mindless chomping tonight. Tomorrow I will go on to a FD.

-Irish B'fast mixed with green tea + raw honey

When I get hungry I'll probably have a cup of whole milk plain yogurt with protein powder and berries.

Later on, I'm not sure.

Tonight will be ham steak with mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans and probably some other veggie.

Sedona 03-07-2012 06:51 AM

DD

- I found soup that is 100 calories a can - Select Harvest Light Southwestern-Style Vegetables - very good and filling.
- Salad 40 calories
- vitibrownie - 100 calories

And I don't know what else. I went over my DD calories Monday and still lost a lb. so after having 3 full days this past weekend - that was good news.

DD80 03-07-2012 07:00 AM

DD

B: Flour tortilla w/ 1 oz of cheddar 250
L: 2 oz filet, 1/3 cup loaded mash approx 250ish
D: Protein Shake 160
S: Raspberries (1/3 cup) 6 strawberries 100ish cals

total 760 Kinda high for a DD, but I worked out a lot yesterday (about 2 1/2 hours) and only ate B and L. Granted, I still ate most of my cals, I just got kinda sick for some reason and couldn't have the small dinner I planned. I haven't eaten since about 1pm and I'm hungry. We will see how it goes.

I'm also down to 170.7 today! Monday was 171.9, Tuesday 171.2, and today down another .5 lbs after a UD!!! :jumpjoy: :jumpjoy: I think I finally broke my stall! *crosses fingers*

adillenal 03-07-2012 07:11 AM

UD
B - coffee with HWC, 2 eggs scrambled in coconut oil, 2 slices whole wheat toast with SF preserves
L - Dannon fullfat yogurt with apple, banana and strawberries in it
D - brisket, baked potato or sweet potato

handbells 03-07-2012 07:19 AM

UD

B-English muffin with butter
L-not sure. Going out with a friend
Supper-again, not sure. Depends on if DH is going to be home. Probably steak and salad.

Azubah 03-07-2012 07:29 AM

DD

B: Normandy vegetables, 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites
L: 1/2 Bariatric Advantage shake
D: 1/2 Bariatric Advantage shake

This way of eating really reminds you that EVERYTHING has calories. I looked at the bag of frozen Normandy vegetables and thought, "40 calories! Do I want to spend 40 calories on these?" I decided that vegetables are important, so yes. But I'll stick with cabbage and spinach and stuff after this bag is finished off. None of this Weight Watchers "Vegetables and fruits are free!" stuff. Nothing's free. Good lesson.

 so true. I did WW for so long, I tend to have the "free" mentality w/ at least veggies (I always tried to limit to 2 servings fruits/day) and it's tough to count 100 cals for fruit!

Hi Heather, just click on the links in the signature for all the info about MUDDD, but basically it is an alternate way intermittent fasting that uses approx. 24 hours in the DD. And FD means "free day" where some of us in maintenance eat on our UD without calorie counting or restriction.

is that 150 calories for a tortilla??
I have found them anywhere from 50-80 calories locally, I think most of the really low ones are also low in carbs. I've been all about getting the most bang for my buck calorie wise lately. Just wondered if you knew about lower calorie ones. You could shave a lot of calories that way! I just got some mama lupe's in the mail!

Nice job on the loss after an UD! Always a pleasant surprise!! :)

I think it is like 140, if I remember correctly. I know it's alot. I bought them because they didn't have any weird ingedients. A lot of the low carb ones have oat fiber in them (I'm allergic) and the low cal ones have weird ingredients. I'm ok having more cals for something less weird. Probably not something to eat on a DD, but I need to use them up and I'm running out of time for that.

The cheese is 110 cals/oz - it's a raw milk cheddar. I like to go more natural most of the time.

Thank you for the ideas though! I appreciate it!

Carmiel 03-07-2012 10:34 AM

sn--almond butter/coconut oil bark
l--spinach and lettuce salad with broc, caul, shrimp and hot bacon dressing

s--hamburger soup, grain-free egg-free dairy-free banana muffin

s/b right at 1500 cals

Scotty 03-07-2012 11:15 AM

UD target 1704

Had my usuall brekkie of omelet, and lunch of lite bread and grilled chix and cukes made into a sammie.

Went to Whole Foods (DD calls it whole paycheck ) to browse their take out foods, and bought a variety of things to try for dinner. I LOVE to try little tastes of lots of things, and this is something I didn't dare do in LC.

HOWEVER, now I will have to estimate my cals for the day, and I probably took a too large helping of the Irish bacon dish-really a braised pork, and the St. Louis ribs. As an obsessive food journaller, it won't be easy. But what fun!!:yummy:

I have Tuscan tempeh, fried tofu, another tofu dish that I can't remember, general tso's (tiny amount), Greek pasta salad, veggie salad with kalamatas and parm, champ (Irish potato dish), roasted tomatoes and peppers, and the ribs and bacon.

I also bought a lovely artichoke with a 10" stem to cook for a DD. YUM.
---and samples of corned beef and ham and cheese....:D

handbells 03-07-2012 11:59 AM

Went to lunch with a friend. Had about 6 jumbo steamed shrimp (I didn't count) and a half a bowl of she crab soup.

Dottie 03-07-2012 12:18 PM

Ahem: afternoon snack: 1 cadbury creme egg lol :)

pinemeadows 03-07-2012 12:38 PM

It's a DD...

B - nothing
L - Glucomannan "shake" with about 1/2 cup of kefir
D - sauted (w/water) cabbage, asparagus stir fry veggies, (lots!) cottage cheese
Snack - Gluco "shake" with kefir and low cal coconut milk
