Question on % on Doc J. SIte
On the site where the calculator is.. it gives you an option to chose,20% weight loss and 25% weight loss and so on..my question is this.. if im trying to lose weight steady with great numbers of loss.. which would i choose? the 20 that it starts with? or is 35 % like 35% faster weight loss?? i notice that the down days number goes up higher the higher the percentage.. just courius,, i started my number at what was there which is 20%

The percentages are percentages of the "normal calories"- so if your normal
calories are at 2000- 20% would be 400, 25% would be 500, 30% would be 600 and so on. Theoretically, you should lose faster at 400 calories, than at 600 calories, for instance, so 20% would give you a faster rate of loss. |

I can't help at all because I started at a DD/UD calorie number between 40/45% and lost at a wonderful pace so I'm thinking it really what will work for you. Start low and go higher if you feel you can.

What an adorable kitty!
Dr J must have been so deeply into CR and the rotation that he assumed the percentages were obvious and needed no explanation. By looking at the way the numbers changed, I was able to figure the pattern out. But - obvious? - I don't think so ![]() |
