Took my scale with me. We had 2 dinners and 2 lunches out but I chose wisely. Lots of fish and chicken. Tons of veggies and I was able to stay away from the bread except on my UD had 12 tortilla chips w/ salsa (yes, I counted them!) and one corn tortilla filled with roasted veggies and a few slices of chicken. It was yummie! I left the rice on the plate.

Weight went up 1.4 yesterday and down 1.4 today, so I stayed the same. Have not hit that new low yet. Tapping foot. Where is that darn whoosh fairy when I need her?
You did great! The whoosh fairy will come. Sometimes, she's just the "oh you are down .2" fairy.

My ladies deflated fast with my weight loss too. It's a double edged sword. They'll never sad anyway. LOL

And I lost a bunch above and below my chest too. I love not having spillage over the bra band anymore.

WTG YY on enjoying your time away without adding to the scale numbers.

Gotta laugh at that because when I first wrote it I automatically wrote "tooth fairy." Say what??? I realized my typo and fixed it but laughed at myself. Now I'm waiting to be visited by the POINT Twoth Fairy!!!

I think the tooth fairy is kind of creepy. I mean, when your a kid, you're like, "yay! money for teeth," but now I'm like..."who is this lady who collect little gross teeth?"

She had to come to our house on New Year's Eve last year, and we were afraid she would be stingy, but apparently, she was happy to be out and left "double" what she normally leaves!

Hi there DD80: Since you posted and bumped this up, it reminded me to do an update.

So, indeed, I did hit a new low a few days ago! I made it to 195.6 so I got out the old chart and started studying it in detail again.

Seems there was one time when I hit a new low SIX times before I dropped below it.

So now, all I have to do is hit 195.6 again somewhere between 4 and 6 times and then I will drop below that. There is a great variation in the number of days between hitting the new low again. Sometimes it's 2 or 3 days in between, sometimes longer. But, eventually it does go down. Back up several times of course, but back down and lower for sure.

One of my silly goals was to imagine a day when 199 would be my new "high" low. If you know what I mean?? (If a non dieter ever tried to figure out some of my lingo....they would go insane!!)

Anyway, looks like my new window has settled in at 195.6 - 199.6 for now. Bye 'bye 200's forever!!!!!

Can I just say that your charting is seriously amazing to me! I always analyze everything, but refuse to write it down. Sometimes it's like I force myself to be lazy...so ridiculous!

Congratulations on your new low and to onederland! Keep up the charting - it's inspiring!

Thanks!! I'm not an OCD person at all! Seriously! I just got the idea to do it and within a few days it became fun! I get up in the morning, weigh myself, then can't wait to run to my journal and weight chart. Weird thing is, it does not matter whether I'm up or down. It's like I'm doing my own personal study or experiment or something.

I have read a number of times in books about how to reach goals that people who write things down and focus on their goals every day have a much better rate of achieving them. This is working out to be true for me.
