How to get back on track??

My calories are in line, but my distribution and rotation are totally whack:

Fr- 0
Sa- 1521
Su- 0
Mo- 1516
Tu- 0
We- 450
Th- 1060

Calories for Saturday and Sunday, combined, are 1521

Calories for Monday and Tuesday, combined, are 1516

Calories for Wednesday and Thursday, combined, are 1510

I tried eating on Wednesday; it didn't work (nightmares, insomnia, no interest
in food- when I'm tired AND hungry, tired always has to be the priority. Once
I'm rested, I can think about eating. Well, you can see what happened...)

So, I thought maybe yesterday could be an UD, but I didn't have time to eat
all the calories I had planned. I was still eating at 8PM, and that was my final
170 cals. I was stuffed.

I feel like today should be a perfect UD or a perfect DD- but what it I believe is
going to happen is a repeat of either yesterday or Wednesday.

I can't do a perfect DD because I have Bible study tonight and we have a potluck
dinner. I could pass on the food, but I choose to participate. Bible study is on the
first and third Fridays every month, so I try to have my UDs land there. Next one
will be 3/16. For me, a perfect DD is 0 calories, so that won't work for today.

A perfect UD would be ideal, because that would put me back into my proper rotation
for today and the 16th- and UD on Saturday next week (3/10). I think my UD calories
are supposed to be 1800-something (1840?). I'm pretty sure I won't reach that today.
LOL it's been 12 days since I reached 1800-something (2/19). But would that be too
many calories on consecutive days? Once again, I think I may be making this more
difficult than it really is.

Any suggestions?

UD today then back to your normal rotation. No stress, no worries, and you're back on track with your rotation the way you need it to be.

I agree and if you are finding it hard to "eat" those UD calories just add some more fat to the things you do eat; coconut oil, butter, nuts, etc. This stuff adds calories quickly with little servings and not much eating.

HTH...and I know you, you will get right back into the swing of things!!!

Thanks to both of you- for confirming what I was thinking!

Beeb- I really think I do OK getting all my calories in. I had difficulty yesterday
because we were out of town for FC's cataract surgery. I tend to not eat up to 1800
because of my DDs. I keep my DDs at 0 cals. most of the time. I dunno, it just
makes more sense to me to lower my UD calories if I'm going to lower my DD calories.
If I go by the charts, the difference between UDs and DDs would be about 1500
calories. When I decided I like 0-calorie DDs, I thought the difference between UDs
and DDs should still be about 1500. That's why I don't make it to 1800 calories on
most of my UDs- I just don't think it's necessary. If I am way off-base in this thinking,
let me know. I don't have the book, so I depend on my BUDDDs to stop me before
I do irreparable damage.

Thanks again ladies, for your replies!

Pami my understanding is that the UD + DD divided x2 is your calorie "range".
If you're doing zero DD's and 1800 UD's, then you're only averaging 900 cals a day over the 2 days, and that seems low to me.
My 2 cents anyway lol

Thanks Dottie for pointing this out. You're right about 900 calorie average over
two days. That seems low to me also. And it doesn't look like something that's
going to fix my metabolism. I wasn't seeing 900 calories- I was only seeing 1500
calories difference between UDs and DDs. And at 1500 calories, that's only about
750 cals per day. I guess I need to re-figure my limits.

Ugh- where to start? Anyone have any ideas? Feels like I'm starting over here.

OK, if you feel good doing fasting DDs do the JUDDD calculator again and see what the UD calories are for your weight now, not what you want to be. Then either use that UD calorie number for your UD and eat right up to it OR add some onto the UD, if you see that the average everyday is not going to be enough and eat right up to it.

1800 for 2 days, like Dottie says, is only 900 calories and that is low, in my opinion too. I could see you still losing well on 1100/1200 which would bring your UD calories to 2200/2400. How I wish I had this much!!

I would do the 2200 and see what happens OR start to eat some calories on DDs.

HTH
