Weekend away

Today's a DD, so far, so good.

But tonight, at 6 we'll get on a train, direction the Alps, for a 4 days weekend with friend, skiing.

But you know ski-related food. To make it simple it's potato-cheese-potato-more melted cheese-saussages-ham-cheese again.:stars:

I won't even try to have DDs, I'll just try to burn all those extra calories skiing but argh ! I'm scared I'm gonna ruin all the lost I've acheived so far ... annoying !

Anyway I should rock today's DD and make it a great one !!!
I'll have another one on wednesday and i'll keep my fingers crossed !

gotsomeold 03-02-2012 02:22 AM

Once that ole JUDDD magic is established in your body, it keeps burning fat even when you drop the rotation for a few days. This slows down weight gain (especially if you spent the day skiing). Then, a few DDs wipe out any weight that sneaked in.

Have a great time! Eat potatoes and cheese and ham. Laugh and party. Then dive back into a great DD and discover another reason we love JUDDD.

Kissa 03-02-2012 02:57 AM

Annie relax.

I have just had 3 big Up days followed by 1 Down. No problems. Back down to 122.2

With all that exercise, like just getting your ski boots on and off,:hyst::hyst::hyst: you'll be fine.

Back on good rotatin the minute you get home and JUDDD will work its magic.

vilanteira 03-02-2012 09:15 AM

I'm going skiing tomorrow as well, and yes we all know how ski-lodge food is. :stars: I would just do the best you can with food choices and not worry about doing the rotation while you're out there enjoying the slopes. It's not worth trying to attempt a DD if it'll stress you out and take away from the enjoyment of the trip, and you'll need your energy to handle the skiing and the cold temperature anyway! You can always get back to the rotation when you come home. Hope you have a lot of fun!

SoHappy 03-02-2012 09:43 AM

Just stopping in to wish you a whole lot of fun on your ski trip! Have fun. Eat well. Drink a toast to all of us, your JUDDD BUDDDs, who can't be there with you, and then back to doing your good JUDDD rotations when you get home.

Have fun! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

sophiethecat 03-02-2012 09:50 AM

Have fun on your trip, Anne! :hugs: Don't stress, just eat, drink, ski and be merry, lol. :jumpjoy: JUDDD is forgiving. Just get back on the rotation when you get home. Be safe and have fun!

Beeb 03-02-2012 10:46 AM

Relax, have fun! With all that exercise you probably will lose weight, even eating the way you are describing!!

And if I could go skiing in the Alps I would eat rocks if that is what it took to have this fabulous weekend you have ahead of you. :notwrthy:

So things are just NOT meant to be stressed over. Our JUDDD WOE is one of them!! ;)

This thread was great going into the weekend! I have, once again, broke into the 180's. Alas, though the weekend is here. I had my dd today and it is going well. I am at work for the next ten hours so I should be okay. Saturday is an up day so that is good. Can anyone tell me what muddd is? Also where does everyone post on a regular basis? Is there a main board or just specialty boards? I don't know where to go? Help I've fallen and can't get!!!!! LOL . Love juddd so far but still have fear of gaining but am going to hug tight to all of you. Carol

You are in the JUDDD forum, and it looks like you are doing JUDDD so just stay with us! :hugs: As far as MUDDD goes, here is the link, which is easy to read than for me to try to explain since I'm not a MUDDDer.

HTH! AND :welcome: to JUDDD

Thank you Beep. I am doing juddd. I was on the newbie site but the last post I did was there for days before anyone came back so I have been looking for a main forum to go on. I posted here because of the weekend. Saturday was a doozy. I really ate to much. I got caught up in the sweets. It is Sunday and I am having DD . It is going good so far. I just really hope this is the solution for me. I suppose I'll find out tomorrow after I weigh myself after my DD . My UP was sooooo big though I'm pretty skeptical. I did not think I had it in me to do a DD on a Sunday but praise be it's going good so far. Hugs Carol

Carol: Most of us JUDDers bounce around on several threads. I like to browse through and read lost of different ones.

One you might like is the "Weight Management" thread. People pop in there every day to talk about how things are going for them on a daily basis.

I just started posting recently on the "What are you eating today?" thread.

Another good one, if you weigh daily, is the the daily weigh in thread.

Even if you don't post your weight every day, it's really encouraging to go there, read, and watch people bounce up and down after UDs and DDs and eventually reach their goals every month.

Glad you are here! Keep posting, anywhere you like!:hugs:

Thank you this was very helpful, I well keep posting. Also, I do check out the other sites you mentioned, as a matter of fact, I am going to check out sundays what are you eating next.

Beep thank you for the muddd link. I do my days in 24 hour periods. I always have because I work nights ands it's easier for me. I'm not sure if I understand. I would have to sit down with pen and paper. I am going too stick with juddd for now anyway.

Hugs to all, Carol.

Just seen this Drummer, Yam is right the Weight Management thread is a good place to go.

The Newbie thread is basically an introduction thread. Sorry that you have been feeling a bit lonely. x
