Off Topic - 2 year Anniversary!

This has nothing to do with JUDDD but I am so proud of myself I had to share.

Two years ago today, I made one of the best decision for my health, life and happiness....

I QUIT SMOKING!:jumpjoy::jumpjoy::jumpjoy:

I have been quit for 2 Years, 9 hours, 50 minutes and 2 seconds (731 days). I have saved $3,657.04 by not smoking 14,628 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Month, 2 Weeks, 5 Days and 19 hours of my life. My Quit Date: 3/1/2010

:heart::heart:

:jumpjoy:WTG!

I've quit several times. :hyst:
The first time, I quit for two years and then started again.
The next time, I quit for five years and then started again.
Last time, I just decided to quit and didn't even think about the date. Not even sure how many years it's been. Somewhere between 2 and 4 years. :confused:

Congratulations on one fantastic achievment. I,too, quit smoking about 10 years ago. Went cold turkey, and never looked back. I despise the smell now :sick: .
If you can quit smoking, you can pretty much commit to anything!
WAY TO GO!!!!! :clap::clap::clap:

Congrats Kel7298! I'm still a new quitter,
but I haven't started back up,
and that's the important thing, right?

46 days, 5 hours, 40 minutes and 23 seconds smoke free.

694 cigarettes not smoked.

$200.10 and 5 days, 7 hours of my life saved.

Forgot to mention,
in addition to quitting cigarettes,
I've lost 18 lbs since Jan 1

Kel and Pami, big HUGS to you both. We all know that quitting is important for your health, blah, blah, blah, but actually being able to do it is often an entirely different thing!

After I graduated HS, I actually worked hard and made myself icky sick learning how to smoke, because I thought I'd not want to make a fool of myself at college if somebody offered me a cigarette. Well, it was so cool and everything.

40 YEARS later after many, many, many attempts I finally was able to quit. That was almost 11 years ago now.

So, Kel, being two years out from being a smoker is wonderful. I'll bet your lungs are back to being pink and healthy. LOL And Pami, hang in there. The worst is over now for you. You've probably got over the addiction part of smoking by this time, but the HABIT of smoking seems to hang around for a long time after the *quit* and occasionally still tries to rear its ugly head.

So quitting smoking and regaining slender figures by doing JUDDD. Man, this summer is going to be fabulous for you two, isn't it!!!
