Finished my first month of JUDDD
down 5.8 pounds!!!
and I don't feel like I was on a diet or struggling.
Haven't gone over my cal budget, did a couple medium days to adjust.
I haven't been this close to 160s for years now with all my health issues.
And to think I basically started JUDDD on a whim one month ago.
The scale was completely erratic, and a few days ago I spiked up above my start weight (hormones) and now I am the lowest in several years.

I don't know what health issues you have, that you referred to in your post, but hopefully JUDDD will help you with those as well. Fasting has been shown to improve our health and the overall function of our body so much, and we basically fast half of our life on this plan... so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for that help for you as well.
(We don't stress the health benefits of a fasting plan much, and JUDDD is such a good one with the length of the fast we adhere to and all... I'm excited to see if you find health improvement in other areas after you've been doing this for several months.)
And I wish we could really get inside people's heads and convince them to not panic about the scale bouncing around with the big weight fluctuations we see when we do this plan. You are proof that despite seeing the bounces up, we also see the bottom of those bounces down too, and overall the bouncing will carry is lower and lower and lower.
There are folks who would have seen your big weight spike up a few days ago and run. And they wouldn't have gone on to see the new low weight that you haven't seen in years!!!!! Yay for you. Woo Hoo! :kicking:
Edited to Add: Oh! And you'll be seeing a lot of new even lower scale readings off and on from now on too. All you have to do is follow the JUDDD plan, eat well on your Up Days, fast well on your Down Days, and be patient. LOL

Just have to share, I finally picked up the Alternate-Day Diet book today at my library, been reading over lunch (a big bowl of chickpea gnudi with browned butter) and I haven't even reached half of my calorie allotment. Really good info for those who started JUDDD with only the the counter on Dr Johnson's website and the great support here

Please, please post this in the JUDDD WHooHoo thread, it would be great for as many people as possible to read it.
I especially love seeing that you didn't give up when you saw that sudden 'spike' in you weight. So many folk cannot bear the 'bounces'.
