Thanks for these suggestions. I just went to Trader Joe and remembered the hummus, split pea soup and shrimp stir-fry mentioned in this thread. Great things to try on my next DD!

I'm going to try the shrimp stir fry tomorrow. I triple checked the calories. I think it's like 175 for the WHOLE bag!

Awesome! Can't wait to see the reviews on it! I'll have to go to Trader Joe's soon to get some of the split pea soup as well! YUM!

I was in Costco recently and found two yummy dishes in their refrigerated section. Their Vegetable and Barley Soup at 80 calories a cup is really tasty and filling. I also tried the Seaweed Salad (Asian) and it is delicious and 30 calories per 56g serving. I just had some for lunch with salmon and loved it!

Bagged veggies - cauli/broccoli/carrots all cut up. I just microwave with a bit of butter (or sautee) and great side dish!

Couple things:
Shadybrook Farms Turkey Breast Cutlets (raw): 4 cutlets to a pkg and each pkg is about 1 pound, so a 4 oz cutlet of lean turkey breast is 110 lbs. I make a picatta style sauce w/broth, a little butter. lemon juice and capers for a delicious, high protein dinner for about 150 cals. These are expensive, but I LOVE the Mt Olive Kosher Dill Petites PicklePAK. I was at the grocery store on a DD and starving. I saw these - 4 little individual containers of tiny dill pickles, and 0 cals. Good for a quick snack, espec when you're not at home where you can access the big pickle jar.

![]() Kind of hard to see... but each of these sticks are 15 calories and 1 carb!! Perfect portion control because they are individually wrapped! I got the cappuccino flavor and there are bits of coffee in them! Delicious! Only problem is that I found them at T.J.MAXX so I'm not sure where exactly they are from. But I do plan on getting more on Thursday when I go back. They also have mint, orange, Irish creme, and a few more flavors I think. Some may have a few more calories per stick. DD Chocolate![]()

At walmart in the frozen isle. They have these chinese take out containers of different chinese dinners. Each container has around 2 servings and are anywhere from 460-510 calories a whole container!!!! Once you cook and put it on a plate, tons of food!!!! My fave is the shrimp fried rice or the sweet and sour chicken!!

I keep the special k protein water powders at the office for when I get starving on a DD. For 30 calories you get 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein in a glass of lemonade. Really stops the hunger pangs. tastes good too!

I second whoever mentioned the Progresso Light Soup for 80 calories. I strain the pasta out of the chicken rotini and noodle and mix these with one bag of Miracle Noodles (shirataki) !
Amazing and really cheap! My absolute fav is Mezzetta Gourmet Sweet & Hot Jalapeno Peppers! You do not need any salad dressing if you add this to your salads and it is unbelievably tasty! 5 cals for 1 tbsp One more fav is Fresh Gourmet Crispy Jalapenos! It doesn't take but a couple of tablespoons added to your salad and it is amazing! ![]() |

I found them on Amazon and do not pay shipping because I have the prime membership. I like them so much, that I have them shipped on autoship!
Jamie, I don't think so! It is a plant made from Konjac root. It really tastes like noodles to me. ![]() |
