Later, I'll make the cabbage protein dish. I'll probably use shrimp or tilapia in it and make it my Asian-seasoned way.

Not sure about dinner. It may be at the hospital if Mom needs me to drive her up to see Dad today. If it's here, I'll probably make chicken and the family can help me finish off the cabbage dish along with that.

Well. At work, I had 3 small lollipops. And....came home from work really hungry and attacked the fridge. So for dinner I had (calories are estimates):

3 lollipops 75
1 crunchie bar 280
5 ginger creams 350
2 chicken wings w/sauce 300
2 T hummus w/chips 200
bowl popcorn 150

1355+689+620=2664

THAT is why I'm so fat.

Tomorrow IS another day. You can try again. Don't beat yourself up, it doesn't count as exercise and it doesn't burn any calories. Take care.

It's actually just my way of using up some leftover veggies. Basically lightly brown one pound of ground beef, drain partially. Then in a casserole baking dish, throw in lightly sauteed sliced red onions, bell peppers, zucchini or squash and a few jalapenos (and any other veggies you like). Mix in one very ripe avocado, then mix in 3 wedges of whatever Laughing Cow cheese flavor you like. Mix in chili seasoning to taste along with about 1/2 cup of marinara sauce to help blend in the seasoning. Bake for about 35 min.

Turned out to be a hearty spicy and creamy casserole. I made this before with butternut squash and that was good too.

I used tilapia in the cabbage dish, well seasoned with N'orleans Cajun. I used a whole egg in it too, for extra protein. I ate maybe 1/3 of the skillet.

Then didn't eat anything else until after 5 p.m.

Had a small but loaded-with-variety salad with Italian dressing from the hospital cafeteria, along with a small fruit and oatmeal yogurt and a large chocolate pudding toffee parfait. Coffee.

Nothing else until just now - 10:30, having glass of wine in bed to help wind down.

UD here and watching these cals like a hawk today! I seemed to have been a "snacker" today, but at least I was mindful of what I was snacking on, just did the serving size and NOT mindlessly eating almost the whole bag/thing like I had been doing using FDs instead of UDs!!

B...1 Orange and 90 calorie granola bar
L...Panera Bread Pick 2: Half smoked turkey on whole grain bread and a cup of black bean soup.
D...Pork chop, a Korean Yam (these are very sweet, with purple skin and yellow insides), Kimchi, Special K Cracker Chips
S...Chocolate cookie, Devil Dog (I know, but I just HAD to have one today! ), popcorn, caramel nip hard candies, coffee/tea throughout the day with low fat half & half.

Total Cals.....1706

YES, tomorrow is another day and sometimes when we see what we are eating, we tend to make better choices next time.
