Group of people we run with have us signed up for 5k the end of March.

I haven't ran far since Dec. 2011
i have feelings of excitement, scared, anticipation stomach butterflies.
I'm mostly training to keep good working knees.
Out to run I go... Deep breaths...smile

That's AWESOME, Eieio...You will do great.
You already know that running is mostly psychological.

I always run the same course around our neighborhood lake, since I have it mapped out for either 3 or 4 miles, depending on what I want to do that day.
Even though the view is beautiful, I always reach those stupid "mind game" areas on the course where I wonder "Can I do this?"
Well, duh...of course I can! I've done it so many times before.

I am proud of you for taking on the challenge. You have very good friends who must think you can do it, 'cause they signed you up! Nothing better than a great support group, and we can't wait to see you at the finish line, so keep up updated on your training.

When everything feels like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top....

Goal Weight achieved 02/25/2012 on JUDDD- and still losing!
