Group of people we run with have us signed up for 5k the end of March.
I haven't ran far since Dec. 2011
i have feelings of excitement, scared, anticipation stomach butterflies.
I'm mostly training to keep good working knees.
Out to run I go... Deep breaths...smile

I always run the same course around our neighborhood lake, since I have it mapped out for either 3 or 4 miles, depending on what I want to do that day.
Even though the view is beautiful, I always reach those stupid "mind game" areas on the course where I wonder "Can I do this?"
Well, duh...of course I can! I've done it so many times before.
I am proud of you for taking on the challenge. You have very good friends who must think you can do it, 'cause they signed you up!:) Nothing better than a great support group, and we can't wait to see you at the finish line, so keep up updated on your training.:heart:

We have country paved roads here around us.
Yes, we ran lots of 5k's. And w like donate and run the 10ks=6 miles.
I've only ran 3 half marathon, I'm over those..ha.
Keep great at ur woe and exercising. U r doing great.
And a great influence on children and family, friends.
We had other friends from Witchital kansas this weekend. Hubby and them ran ten miles. I did my panned two miles, while I'm in rehab for knees. I'm happy with it. It's all good clean fun.
