I can't say yet as I haven't been on long enough. One month was 10 pounds. I would LOVE that to be my "average", but that's not likely. I am anxious to hear what others report.

I agree with 8 to 10 lbs per month. I have studied ADF for a while and that seems to be the consensus. Even if mine slows to 5 lbs a month, I will continue because I know that the end result will eventually come!

I lost 8 lbs my first month, and will probably be at 9 -10 lbs for the 2nd month. Our stats are very similar, so you might expect the same.

I think I need to be more realistic and not expect to lose MASSIVE amounts of weigt in a week.

My average has been right around 3 lbs/week or 12 lbs/month. The last two weeks have been slower. 3.6 lbs over the two weeks combined. I have lost 26 lbs since I started JUDDD and am considering lowering my UD calories. I'm going to give it to tomorrow's weigh-in and see what happens.

Whatever I decide, I'm still losing way better than on any other plan I've followed and am enjoying this WOE so much more!

Dawn, So, would lowering the cals be the next step when the scale begins slowing down? I began JUDDD a bit low on cals and have been raising my cals as I go slowly.

I really believe that the health benefits plus the downward scale make JUDDD much better than simple Atkins or South Beach.

I think the ultimate goal is to have UDs as high as you can keep them. I have so much to lose though, that I will eventually need to lower them as I lose.

Some people start JUDDD by using their goal weight in the calculator. That works well, but IMO, at my weight, I needed more than what it gave me. I think it was around 1700 if I enter my goal weight, and I'm currently using 2200 (the calculator gave me 2345 when I started, so I lowered it a little from that).

It's a YMMV thing and everyone has to find their "sweet spot." I do believe your sweet spot changes as your body composition changes. One of the things I LOVE about JUDDD is that you can play with it until you find what works.

2200/500 has served me very well for quite some time, so I'm not surprised there's a little slow down happening. And I've lost around 26 lbs since starting JUDDD. I'm sure I don't actually NEED as many calories as I'm currently getting.

I have worked up to 1700-1800/500, but will do 300 DD for a week and see if that is better for me. Thanks for your advice!
