input for vacation

Hi guys, I'm looking for some suggestions. I've been LOVING JUDDD for about a month now. I'm hitting my numbers 380DD and 1800UD. I am losing about 2 pounds a week, and almost back to my regular weight {I gained some weight this year after my dad unexpectedly passed away}.

I am going to Disney with my family for 8 days. My plan is to do 4 UD of 2200-2500calories, and 4MD of 1200-1500. I am not looking to lose weight during my vacation and won't be working out {except for the 10 hours of walking a day-hahaha}. I am willing to gain 1 or 2 pounds with no stress or negativity about it.

My question is do those numbers seem reasonable? I'm not worried about falling off the wagon. I love every single day of JUDDD.

Thanks for any input!

I'm no expert, but those numbers seem like they should be okay given the fact that you'll be walking, and walking, and walking.

Also, Disney has really come a long way with regards to meal and snack items. There's a lot more fresh fruit, salads, and other healthy options than there used to be!

It averages 2000 cals a day (at the upper limit of each proposed day, which over the 8 days = 1600 cals extra cals than your daily maintenance cal requirements for the week (based on 1800 per day). The theory is that you need to eat an additional 3500 cals to gain a lb - so you should be okay.

Not really sure about my science though!!

However a week at Disney sounds like an important family event - so I would consider enjoying it - as you have mentioned (or even aim for 1800-2000 @ sort of maintenance level for the week) - and then get back on your usual numbers when you're home!

I can't help on the numbers (they look ok to me, but I'm no expert).

I just wanted to add my 2 cents: Get the Kid's snack pack. They are available at pretty much every "restaurant" in Disney. I think it's a yogurt, a string cheese, and apple slices. Very cheap way to have a good snack/meal. I get that because I'm not a 3 meals/day kind of girl and I don't like wasting food on vacation. I also recommend going to the grocery store and buying your own snacks to pack along.

Oh, and I couldn't remember if you're low carb or not, but if you're going to Disney California, you can get a turkey leg. When I was low carb, that was a life-saver!
