The best laid plans, and all that . . . . I had my Fage plain for breakfast, then DH came downtown, so we went to the hofbrau. I had a hotlink sandwhich with grilled peppers and onions and provolone on a sesame Kaiser roll, with a side order of rice pilaf for nearly 1000 calories!

I was supposed to have another protein shake for lunch. Ummmm. No. I had conversation hearts. I don't even like conversation hearts. YEAH.

I agree. Just had one, that really helps to fill me up and just tastes soothing and nice.

I agree. There is something soothing about a good cup of tea.

UD for me and good lord was i hungry!!!
TOM is around the corner and my muscles are extremely sore from starting a new DVD and i think they were screaming for nutrition today

I had a protein shake after my workout
then had yogurt and cottage cheese mixture with some granola mixed in
went to the wonderful grocery store down the street from my job that has a great deli because i was craving some fruit SOOOO bad. I got a nice big container of different fruits, it had stawberries, grapes, honey dew melon, canteloupe and pineapple, it was sooo good. I ate half adn am gonna have the other later for a snack
I ate half of the sandwich i brought, an apple and a bostom creme pie yogurt, this was sooo good!!! I ate my salad later in the afternoon, which was chicken over spinach with balsamic
dinner was a huge salad of chicken, romaine, mushrooms, roasted soy beans, pecans, shredded cheese and light peppercorn ranch and a boiled egg on top
Ill have the rest of my fruit later with some yogurt

I will end up about 1900 today. A little over what i like to be but i can tell my body is needing it today. I know i will have a great DD tomorrow!!!

DD

B: vanilla chai flavored tea, boiled egg, 1/3 cup coconut milk mixed with small container of Dole pineapple tidbits (190)
L: 1/2 of the cabbage/Laughing Cow/chicken stuff (145)
S: the other 1/2 of the heavenly concoction of c/LC/c - with shirataki noodles and couple spoons of Walden Farms alfredo (145)
D/S: SF Jello with the fun as heck whipped cream in a can (20)

The pineapple and coconut stuff was good, but not as good as I had hoped. I was kinda wanting a pina colada kind of thing.

However, I heard angels sing while having my supper!

first sick DD day

upper respiratory distress = really bad DD.

Kept trying to avoid it -- but I was feeding the cold.

917 calories today.

UP tomorrow?

Or another DD?

I'd make it an UD and just know that when you're sick you've got to do what your body tells you to. It'll all work out.

Take care, NL Do what your body wants, whether it's little to no food or lots of food. You can get back on track when you're well. Which will hopefully be asap!

And it's deeeliscious!!!

I did the Irish version I've been wanting to try where I cut up 2 oz. turkey kielbasa in small pieces and fried these. Then put a little chicken broth and the coleslaw mix in and cooked. Added a few dashes Old Bay (just cause I love it in this kind of thing), salt and pepper. Baked a potato in the microwave about 4 min., then cut that up and added to the skillet. Little more chicken broth. Little more salt, tons black pepper. Melted 1/2 T. butter into the dish and stirred well.

Yum!

400 calories for the whole skillet.
About 9 p.m. I finally got to eat again. Had a Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe bar with 2 glasses red wine (still working on the 2nd one).

My first UD, yeah!!!! breakfast (same as every day): 3/4 cup of homemade yogurt (made with whole milk and TJ's plain yogurt with extra fiber) and a tablespoon of Fiber Sprinkles and a 1/2 grapefruit.

lunch: giant salad with mixed greens, whole baked chicken breast, piece of grated jicama, and homemade blue cheese salad dressing, and cup of hot tea

supper: probably leftover chicken thighs with steamed broccoli, cup of unsweet almond milk

snack: large cup of hot apple tea with heavy whipping cream and a bit of Stevia

yum! Satisfyingly stuffed already! Found a LC cheese souffle but not up to making that tonight. Got to clean out my frig of leftovers.
