Great NSVs everyone

The Christmas season has me making poorer food choices, Sara, so I love hearing about people making good ones. I haven't ever counted my UDs & have a feeling that if I started, better choices might be around the corner! I can't see plain baked potatoes in my future (kudos, Kissa) but I wouldn't mind some skinny, non-sparky thighs

Woo hoo, Carly! I always wondered why the smell of something would make us HAVE to have some to eat. Why is it we can't just enjoy the smell? Well, maybe with JUDDD we can!

I, in my skinny jeans and fitted jacket, was selecting a couple of those little single-serving ice cream cups when a slightly plump lady walked up and said, "If you keep eating those, you will end up as heavy as me."

Without thinking, I said, "I lost 50 pounds eating these."

We ended up talking for fifteen minutes. Hopefully she will join us here soon.

When we go to Buffalo Wild Wings I always ask for a little container of ranch dressing cause I put a dab of it in my walden farms dressing for my celery.
We told the waitress about that and how I lost 60 pounds by eating a lot of celery especially the first few months with a dab of their Ranch dressing. She said I should be their spokes person!

Your story reminded me of that.

Hooray for Rayne & Carly!! It just keeps getting better, doesn't it??

Nancy, I had a similar experience in Target last week. I had off loaded my cart items to the belt & then, I had to squeeze between the basket & racks of gum, candy, etc. I said to no one in particular, "I just barely made it!". The lady behind me told me she couldn't have squeezed to get thru. I told her I had lost 40 pounds this year & she was very interested in how I did it. In 5 minutes, she was getting info on where to go to learn about JUDDD. Of course I told her the JUDDD forum on LCF!!

Then, this morning a neighbor came by to buy some eggs. When she was leaving, she commented on how good I looked. I told her losing weight helps. And she told me the weight loss shows!! Made my day!

Oh, and I measured my waist after I read Rayne's post. I've gone from 44 inches to 37! Alright!!!

Yay Shari! Got to love losing inches!

I remember the first time I scooted between the wagon and the magazine rack at Stop and Shop- I thought I was going to faint from the excitement! I did it twice to make sure!

I'm wearing my goal pants today! They fit great. They are a small size 12, and I may want to get into 10s at some point or even maybe (gasp) 8s, but anything from here on is gravy--which I can eat thanks to JUDDD!

I'm still 3 pounds from "normal" BMI, and I'd still like to lose another 10-15, but I'm feeling good where I am.

Shari, I'm going to have to try that at Target tomorrow or Sunday when I'm there.

I have one to share, since I just realized it this morning-- it's my PMS week, and I'm NOT HUNGRY.

Not hungry on DDs, not crazy hungry on UDs... just not that hungry, this week in particular. It's both awesome, and sort of freaking me out.

I'm just assuming I'm getting back to normal (finally) after my trip... of course, now I have another trip, parties, dinners, etc...

but hey, I'll take it. It makes me think I can have some really low DDs while I'm away next week and maybe, just maybe, come back with a loss.
Shhhhh... don't tell anyone, and maybe it will happen.

Well my NSV today is that someone at work who I only know by sight came up to me today and asked me what diet I was following as she had noticed Id lost weight...yay!! Hopefully another Judd buddy in the making!!

This is a huge victory! The downfall to so many diet plans is that people feel hungry and deprived, and end up resuming their bad eating behaviors. To be this in tune with your body and know intuitively when you are truly hungry, is awesome

Today I had a jump for joy moment at my favorite place, Goodwill

I have been a solid size large top person for years, and over the summer started adding some xl shirts. Today I bought 7 size medium sweaters, and they actually fit

I also found a new with tag dress in a size 8 I could actually get all the way on

It was really tight but I bought it to put away until I hit my goal weight

My husband's cousin in getting married in March and I'd love to wear that dress to her wedding!

Well I certainly didn't set the bar as high (small) as you did! My 5'9" frame fit into regular size 4s 20 years ago, but I have no desire to get that small again. I'm just ecstatic to be in 12s comfortably and so close to normal, I can taste it. You kicked my butt in that category!

I have another NSV for today. I hope I'm not hogging them! I went to a jewelry party (the company whose initials are LS) and I bought two necklaces which can also be worn as decorative belts. Belts! Belts? That's huge (or small, depending on how you look at it). I'm willing to wear a belt as decoration? Does that mean I see the beginnings of a waist? Hmm.
