I have one at last! In fact, I've had a few clothes-related ones but I've grown so accustomed to, say, tightening the belt another notch that I'm not blown over by it any more. Thank you JUDDD

My real NSV is that I survived some pretty stressful & sad & angry situations over the last 2 days without turning to food to help me handle them. So, I didn't numb myself and I got through the anxiety and the sadness and the anger all the same.

It's one of those "So this is how the normal people do it" moments for me and it's wonderful! To know I can handle the tough times is a real gift.

Meanwhile, I'm lying in bed with a new baking book I've gotten myself for Christmas (shhhhhh! no one need know I'm peeking) and have no concerns or guilt about all the delicious baking I'm going to do and enjoy over the coming months.

I feel wonderfully, beautifully freeeeeeeeeeeeee

Oh, Lucky- I'm thrilled for you. I survived my first hurt, sad, angry, in October and yes it was amazing to not ruin a perfectly good DD over emotions which eventually passed.

I had a NSV moment at the grocery store today I went knowing I had spare calories on my UD today and decided to get myself a treat. I made a beeline for the cookie isle and immediately had my two favorite kinds of cookie in each hand However, I decided to look at the nutrition info and after realizing how many calories 4 small Famous Amos cookies equaled I decided it just wasn't worth it, and I put the cookies back I ended up buying trail mix with nuts, raisins and chocolate pieces-a healthier choice but also a much more filling option.

I've really started realizing that all food is not created equal and even though the cookies and the trail mix were almost the same calorie amount-I now know the trail mix will be filling (and healthier), as opposed to four small cookies that would leave me craving more. My whole relationship with food has been evolving since I started JUDDD and I love it!

That is a great NSV Sara, we all learn so much about our attitudes to food.

My NSV today was bravely ordering a plain Baked Potato in a pub at lunchtime. They couldn't have been nicer about it and happily brought me malt vinegar too.

Last night my DD told me "your legs are skinny" (no they're not!) when I walked past her in the living room. Granted, she is extremely nearsighted and wasn't wearing her glasses (plus I was wearing black track pants). I think she was just being kind, but it felt good.

^^You may be right, Carly! I just checked my measurements on ****** (glad I've been tracking for the last month)...my thighs have gone down 1.25" (28.75 [my old waist measurement haha] to 27.5).

YAY Rayne for skinny thighs! What a wonderful thing for DD to say.

I've been thinking my legs are looking thinner (not thin, mind you, just thinnER), especially around the knees and lower thighs. Compared to what they looked like 77 pounds ago, they ARE thinner. I'll take it!
