My NSV is that I have dropped 2 dress sizes and am now starting to wear clothes that fit and do not hang off me and the best bit is someone at work called me a skinny minny today.
Now I am obviously not that but it was lovely to hear...!!

Awesome NSVs!! It's so fun and encouraging to come here and read about all the successes.

Mine is that yesterday I tried on a pair of black jeans that were too tight to button and zip not too long ago.

I don't know why I decided to try them on. But they fit!!! I put a cute top on with them and wore them all day. And, I kept stopping to look in every mirror I passed. Couldn't help it! Felt soooooooo great!!

The scale is not where I want it but, hey, the pant's don't lie, right?

for cute jeans that fit. I wore the skinny jeans a second time last week! Hum, gonna need to wear them again soon, cause I'm shrinking out of clothes left and right.

My non-scale victory was that I bought really cute tights at a teeny bopper store and they are a S/M. The clothes at this store are super tiny. I was sure that there was no way I would get those tights on, but I sure did with plenty of room to spare. Last November I went to a black tie event and could barely sqeeze into size E pantyhose (JMS). I was miserable the whole night. The picture of me in that dress should be burned! Maybe the next time I post a before and during I will use that horrendous picture!

Carly you better wear those skinny jeans because you wont be able to keep them up soon. Last November you probably wouldn't have imagined you would be buying a size small at a teeny bopper store so soon.

Yam Yam WTG! The pants definitely don't lie

This morning I had a happy moment. I weighed myself and didn't see any movement so I was feeling bummed, but then I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and did a double take. I look so thin My stomach is almost totally flat-it hasn't been like this since before I started having kids (9 years ago!). So happy this morning

I mentioned an NSV in another thread about improvement in my overall dieting philosophy especially about the upcoming holidays. It is BIG for me that I am at a place where I can say that staying on plan is more important to me than having a gluttonous, celebratory holiday season. That's not to say that I don't plan to enjoy the season, turkey day, etc. I just got out of the mindset that enjoying the season has to mean a month long pig out fest where I gain back half of what I've lost.

On a more measurable front...it was really cold a couple of nights ago and I pulled out the fuzzy pajama pants I bought last Christmas. They were like clown pants. No matter how tight I pulled the drawstring they were just ridiculously too big. My teenage daughter had the same pair (mine were 2X hers were L) They nearly fell off her too; BUT, they fit me and were even a little roomy! I'm not sure whether her new pair will have to be S or M.

Another "the pants don't lie" NSV. I went shopping over the weekend and found a nice black pair of dress pants which fit perfectly, in a size 12! I have a meeting with my new boss on Friday and needed something that didn't look like I was auditioning for the circus. It may be about time to retire my 14s.

I also tried on a couple of pairs of jogging capris. I tried a M, and a L. I could get the M on but it wasn't exactly pretty. I ended up getting the L, which will probably be falling off by February when I'm planning to try my first 5K (another NSV).

Not sure if this counts as a NSV, but I wore my smallest pair of "goal jeans" out to dinner tonight. Even after reaching goal, that pair was always too tight and verging on cutting off my circulation.

I tried it on this afternoon on a DD before any solid food and it was still a bit tight, but it wasn't really uncomfortable so I decided to wear it out. Well, what I didn't see coming was that as I ate dinner, the jeans got tighter and more uncomfortable and ended up serving as an unintended deterrant to overeating on my DD. Seriously, if I had eaten a few bites more, the button may have popped.

Me too! My skinny jeans are now not as tight and won't serve that purpose anymore. I've done that, too - wear my tightest clothes on purpose to keep from overeating. I may go to the goodwill and see what I can find

Great NSV's and I congratulate you all

Not sure if this counts, but....went to the mall with my friend this week after being tortured by the eye doc and walked through all the stores admiring the new winter clothes and she asked me if I wanted to go into Lane Bryant, and I said, "nope, I can't fit into their clothes anymore." So, yep, I'm going to count it as JUDDD magic, too. (I did drool over a couple of Coach bags, however, and may consider making one a reward for later.)
