Ditto. And I wish I had more time here on the boards...a new chapter in my life is emerging and taking more of my time day to day. Now I realize, no matter what, this thread is a daily must see.

I had dreams of going back to work when my daughter finished school, but thats all it was to me, a dream. I started JUDDD on sept 10th and everything in my life and health improved, including my self confidence. So....I decided to apply for a job as a cashier for Christmas help at Wal-Mart, was accepted, got a perm in my hair today and start work Tuesday. Cant get much more "out there" in the public than Wal-Mart, so I'm jumping in with both feet and thrilled to be a working girl again!!! Who knows, someday I may go back into medicine and saving lives, right now JUDDD is saving my life!
Thank you all for your encouragement, Ellen
Wow, this just was such a powerful post for me. It made me cry- releasing a lot of my own internal emotions. I understand totally what you are saying. The pain we hold within regarding our weight is like an anchor around our lives. Cutting those chains and releasing the anchor is one of the most powerful things I can think of. There are no words to describe my happiness for you. You are out in the world again!!! And yes, go back to medicine again when you are able to because the world needs more people like you.

You completely made my day. To everyone, congrats on your NSV's!!

I only went away for a few short days and all these lovely, lovely NSVs have arrived.

I love to watch the confidence of our lovely JBs growing, while their bodies a busy shrinking. And yes, so much of this success is because of the untold support, advice and affection we find here.

I find it hard to remember how different my eating habits were. It is now just over a year since I began to JUDDD and after the fist week I bravely decided to allow myself any and every food.

So I guess this is my first real JUDDDiversary. Surely that is an NSV?

I think I do an ad-hoc JUDD as some days I eat high cal, some lower... but for me in particular my pants are fitting much looser. I even have to replace my leggings I bought this summer as they are falling off me... as you know leggings are supposed to be skin tight... so falling off you is not a good look LOL

I "jogged" yesterday. Okay, it was a total of 2 minutes of jogging in my 45 minutes on the treadmill, but hey, it's something . . . I wouldn't have done that 90 pounds ago! Oh! And I don't have black eyes! 2 NSVs in 1!

When I got out of bed this morning, I saw leg muscles I haven't seen in years. Talk about motivation to continue on with this way of eating.

One more NSV I keep experiencing. Some of the treats I have craved in the past have not held their appeal recently. I start to eat them and after a few bites I feel sick if I have more.

I love how I am changing inside and out! I didn't think this was possible and honestly this brings a tear to my eyes.

Woo hoo Dawn!!

I am sooooo not a jogger, although I tried for a long time. Now I just walk X # miles with 30 sec to 1 minute "running" intervals every 3 minutes or so. Feeling great doing that. According to research out there on the web, apparently the intervals really helps our level of fitness way more than just walking or even just jogging by itself. This is way more doable for me for sure and keeps me exercising more than trying to make myself trudge through even a mile of running.

Cindy congratulations on enjoying a DD as a celebration. You're such an inspiration.

Dawn, WTG with the jogging.

Barb, wow, exciting changes going on in your life!

Yes, Shari, I did jump for joy yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Today however, I'm somewhat aware that I have muscles in my legs - poor forgotten little things!

Kristin I belong to the Flat Earth society too... and getting flatter with every lb!

my recent NSV noticing less side-knee-thigh bulge... and less back fat...

I have two new pairs of size 8 jeans, which I hemmed (with iron on hemming tape lol), and they fit perfectly, no poopcatcher butt (in university, we had this prof whose pants were so droopy in the back, we called them poopcatcher pants).

congrats on your one year Cindy!

and everyone else on NSV too... I need to get caught up!
