I have been on Juddd 5 weeks and lost 14 pounds, most of it in the first 2 weeks. I am slowing now to a crawl but still losing approximately a pound a week. Any loss is great news, the JUDDD lifestyle is amazing. The benefits are mind boggling...for me joint pain has disapperared, energy level is WAY up, memory has improved, most food cravings have been left behind, and I am naturally leaning toward a fresh nutrient dense diet everyday!!! Low carb was great a few years ago but this year didnt do a thing for me, and I hated the food choices. How am I supposed to live without fruit and veggies living on a farm with apples and gardens. I will stick this out as long as it takes, even if I stopped losing weight I would continue for the health benefits! I JUDDD

So glad you're feeling better, Gotitnow

Anasmom, the last few days I've noticed that there has been a marked decrease in those 'gosh, just can't remember the word' moments. To me, that's almost as good as the weight loss. I'm waffling on that one, but my vanity is winning Most of the other points you've outlined, I have noticed as well. It's easy for me to imagine that there are wonderful benefits on the cellular level such as decreased inflammation.

I JUDDD!!! (I typed this before I noticed your post ended with it )

Aww, I don't have anyone to share clothes with but I do have a NSV for today!

Sometimes I buy size 18 pants for when I fit into them... depending on the make/model, some are starting to fit!

My size 18 lane bryant skinny jeans with a lot of stretch-- totally fit

Old Navy dress pants with some stretch-- could do them up but, um, no, let's not do that
Old navy grey "khakis" with no stretch-- get them on, can't do them up.

And then today's *actual pants* are a size 22 that I got on sale a year or 2 ago... they are clearly too big by an inch or more in the waist (but not enough to fall down...yet )

say it with me folks:

THE PANTS DON"T LIE!!!!

Yay, Soren.

Something about the comfort of the ones I was wearing today inspired me to try on my formerly "could get them on and zipped but please don't make me wear these" skinny jeans. Totally fit! Not even tight.

I've a strange NSV that I just realized and I'm crediting it this woe and easing of some of the arthritis...I have Arthur Itis in my hands and particularly in my right middle finger. It really hurts every time I trim my nails and I noticed tonight it isn't hurting as much as usual...must be some lessening in the inflammation. I don't know of anything else that could do it.

So, I'm claiming it...lessening of pain in the hands....and now back to my manicure.

Mssarge, there are all kinds of NSV we can claim! I would say for we "older" ladies, this is a really BIG one!

Well done everyone - I so so love finding clothes in the wardrobe that fit or that are too loose! I've realised also reading these posts that some slight joint pain that I get occasionally hasn't been around in a long time!

Thanks
Dee

I'm another who has had a great reduction in arthritis pain, down to.. well, almost nothing. Arthritis runs in my family, down from grandmother, daddy, me. Phooey.

But these days, it's never bad, and most days, I feel no pain at all. I almost never get a flair of either arthritis or fibro.

If it's JUDDD that has eased aches and pains, which I believe is probable, I'm thankful.

It's nice to be living pain free in these years, when at a younger age I was achy with arthritis a lot. Yay, JUDDD! Thank you!

I was putting my numbers into ****** just now, and I was comparing my BMI starting, 23.57 to what it is now. I've moved into another digit, it's 21.97. Who would of thought it could of been so easy?

I have to agree. Today I managed to get into my next-size-down jeans--they're a little snug, but wearable. This is my first size reduction since I started 10 weeks ago. It's really nice to see concrete evidence of progress.

It gives me hope to hear that so many are getting relief from arthritis. I haven't yet... in fact the more I lose the more I hurt, which makes no sense, but it keeps me hopeful that I may someday reap that JUDDD reward as well

Thank you, Carly. I know it's just an arbitrary ratio, but it's a sign I'm moving in the right direction.

Hopefully your joints will start feeling better soon too. I used to religiously have to take HA & Omega 3 for my joints, I haven't had to since I started JUDDD'ing.

Carly I restarted taking Glucosamine after 4 years. I read someone here saying that they had had good results after taking three 1,500 tabs along with fish oils.

I know these things are all individual but for what it is worth, after 3 months I have had such an improvement.

I know you have other health issues and may not be able to add it to your regime. Just passing on my good fortune.

Congrats of the BMI drop Dakini, brilliant.

Carly - so sorry your pain is getting worse. You're right, it doesn't make sense, but maybe something's happening that will enable an improvement on down the road. I'll hope for that for you.
