I have a NSV today. I just gathered up all of my old diet books and donated them to Goodwill! Wow do I have a lot of open shelf space now! I feel like maybe I should have put little stickys in the front pages of the books suggesting JUDDD if the diet didn't work for them...

What an alarming idea! Hope I can do the same thing some months from now.

I know!!! I never would have thought that I would be giving those away, but so far I am not missing them.
I really should have put the link to this forum in them. Might have even helped if it was for the low carb books...

Oops, got excited, teehee! My victory with JUDDD has been a steady loss after hitting a brief stall on Atkins. I've struggled with my weight since I started menses, this is the first time in my life of fifty years that I've felt in control of my weight. It's exhilarating!!
Oh yes. I have goats and make goat milk products. And I have lost 32 pounds on JUDDD and still working on my last 8 pounds.

I cut my hair really short (even shorter than my avatar!). I know that sounds like a weird NSV, but it's because I actually have some definition in my face and my neck appears much longer and more graceful than it has in several years. I'm getting lots of compliments on it, so I guess it's cute, and SO easy to do!

How delightful, I love 'elphin' hairdos, although I have never had one myself. Glad you are enjoying it Dawn.

I managed a Zumba class today after almost 4 months of nurturing my one.. so far, so good!

Dawn...I bet your hair is adorable! You have the face for it. I too cut my hair really short. Shorter than my avitar, too. Even a little "spikey" when I feel like being a bit "edgy." Didn't feel nervy enough before losing weight. It's fun and sooooo easy! Ain't it great? So fun! Need new pics!!!

Kissa...wish I could make myself do Zumba! Doing good to get a walk in lately!

Dawn you have phenomenal bone structure! Super short hair must really show that off and look maaaahvelous! Do we get a new avi to enjoy?

Phyl, you raise a very good NSV.

When I started out, I just wanted clothes to fit and hide the bulges, I just wanted my hair to be easy to maintain. Now it is fun to try on different styles, go to my knees laughing at how terrible some of them look on me, and just stare in the mirror with joy at others. I am morphing from "is it comfortable? does it cover adequately?" into the semi-fashionista I used to be.

My NSV this morning is the realization that with all the benefits of JUDDD, it does NOT help improve my memory. In fact I think it is making it worse.

I went shopping yesterday at Kohls and they were having some great clearance so I was browsing and finding some nice stuff until I realized that everything I picked out was 16's and 18's. The problem is I had momentarily forgotten that JUDDD has put me in 12's and those are even gettting loose. It didn't even occur to me for 30 minutes that I couldn't shop in the "women's" department anymore as all the clothes are too big and I had to hang my head and seek out the normal size section. So huge waste of time but totally worth that moment when I realized "oh, you're not 200+ pounds anymore"

Now if only my mind can catch up with my body

WTG Elise!

I finally made it to my local thrift store on Sunday and specifically went in for some 12s as my 14s are getting just a tiny bit roomy and I have nothing smaller. I found 2 skirts and 2 pairs of pants (one of the skirts fits and the rest of the items I have to "lose" into). Then I found a cute blouse and got it without even thinking about the fact that it's an XL. When I tried it on at home, I realized it's way to big to use as a blouse. Thankfully, it's sueded material with a satin lining and can also be used as a jacket over something else. So even though I specifically went in for smaller clothing, I too came out with something too big! Thankfully, my 5 items cost less than $10.00!

Awesome!!!
I put on a cute button-up shirt that I haven't worn in a while because my hips made it kind of tight at the bottom - and it fit fine! I can't believe how fast JUDDD has whittled down my waist and hips/thighs/bottom! Huge difference!

Yay! JUDDD has magical reshaping qualities as far as I'm concerned. Even when the scale is not really moving I'm being reshaped!
