Okay, went shopping for a new dress today. Manga dress, they come up tiny I used to think. I have a gem in "SMALL".

Need new smaller bras too. For me this is a cause for celebration. (Was a 30H 6 months ago.)

Picture please! If you can get a pic of yourself in the dress or a link where we could look at it on a store online, if it's no trouble.

With a traumatic health event going on in my family, I have been running back and forth to a hospital an hour-and-a-half away most days, and been quite stressed, pre-menstrual, etc. yet have been maintaining OK. After 2 FDs in a row, I switched to my version of MUDDDg on Thursday and therefore I haven't had to think so much about food, calories, and when to eat or not to eat.

I think things are starting to settle down but I plan to continue MUDDDg at least for a while to come.

ALSO

I have to wear a belt to hold my jeans up. (need to shop at Goodwill soon!)

I need a new, much smaller bathing suit by the end of May. The one I bought last year was when I was at my biggest and though I spent a lot on it for just one season (a sort of last-minute beach trip and I had to get something right then), I am of course glad I only got to wear it once, and that I need a much smaller one. Maybe when I get my new one in the coming months I will do a before/after shot wearing each bathing suit at the size I am now.
Thank you, thank you for posting these great victories. I am thrilled to hear how well people do with maintaining. But I wanted to give you a hug for the stress you are going through and send you my wishes that all goes well for you and your family. I hope everything goes well and settles down soon.

Since I've been trying to limit the amount of time I spend online (well... most of which is basically here at LCF Ha!) I don't always get a chance to read all the JUDDD posts, so it's a real treat when I take more time and get caught up.

All of your various non-scale victories are truly inspirational. Fun and funny and encouraging and all deserving of pride in yourselves.

And your stories help keep me devoted and on track too. It gets to be a habit, but it's always a smart idea to keep the habit strengthened so that it can serve you well, and reading your wonderful stories really motivates me. Thank you, JUDDD BUDDDs, for sharing!

Kissa, adorable dress! You know, we'll need pics of you wearing it, too!

I posted this in another thread but thought it also belonged here. A month ago, before I started JUDDD, I could walk only about two miles before my knees would be hurting pretty good. Four miles would lay me up on the couch with ice packs for a couple days. In the last two days I have walked a combined seven and a half miles and my knees feel great. I could go for another walk right now. That anti-inflammatory affect that JUDDD has is helping me so much!

Inches, inches and more inches. The scale goes up and down every day, but I consistently see inches falling off. So I'm very pleased. I love the feeling of appetite fullness. With low calorie diet I was always hungry. I'm also happy to see my coworkers being knowledgeable about what I can and can not eat. They always say " shes not going to eat that". It really feels good. I also notice one of my coworkers looking at me like how can she eat all of that meat and lose weight but she won't ask me she just looks at me at the lunch table but I can tell what shes thinking. Very funny!!!!!!!

Golly, doesn't it feel good when friends and co-workers see the results and grasp the concept? And stop commenting on 'what are you eating now?'

Beverly, so far I am trying to find the right proportions to make dark chocolate/ruby port and white choc/sherry truffles. So far, DH has had enjoyed some exotic sauces on his ice cream. But I am getting closer. And, YES to curry, hot peppers, cardamon. One of the cooking shows talked about a goat cheese cupcake filled with caramelized pear ganache and topped with walnut butter cream. I gotta make me some of that!

All this an weight loss too!!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Threadjack-
I wish I lived near you. I love creating stuff like that. I used to make cupcakes all the time and did many with different wines. That goat cheese one sounds like heaven and the chocolates-- oh my! I would love to try the cardamom one. Have fun! (I know you are)

I hadn't been to the gym for three months and I was so thrilled to hear my trainer say....look how skinny you are. Very motivating to hear that coming from the task master.

Yesterday, at bowling, my teammate made a comment that I'm looking thin, but a good thin.

I'm lovin this!

Cindy, You are totally rocking that dress girl, you look fabulous!

Well, I've been beyond frustrated because I haven't lost in two weeks while meticulously counting and weighing my food. I went clothes shopping today because my sister always "borrows" my clothes and never returns them, so I've been wearing nothing but baggy jeans and t shirts all week. I saw some *very* cute jeans with just the right inseam but in a size 10. I just recently squeezed my booty into 12 s so I was sure I was in for disappointment when I tried them on. They fit. I haven't been this size since I first started Low Carb back in 2009, and I didn't stay there for long. I'm excited but scared! I always seem to get too happy with my success that I start to become lax... I hope that is not the case this time. I want to at least make it to single digits!

Thanks Laranda.

What a thrill getting into the little jeans. We won't let you slip up. Just keep coming here, and all the support will keep you on the straight and narrow.

And anyway, who wouldn't want to do JUDDD, only dieting half the time.

Motivating thought Elle - keep this up and your sister will not be able to 'borrow' your clothes 'cause they won't fit her at all!

A few days ago I just got into my first pair size 10 jeans in twenty years. Want to race to see who gets an 8 first?

Exciting when we slip into an article of clothing, expecting it will be too small, and it FITS.

As to the loss of actual pounds, if you are truly measuring your foods and counting your calories to know you are hitting your numbers, maybe it's time to revisit your calculations. Is it possible that you miscalculated? Is it possible that you added in exercise, and that is giving you too many calories? (Most of us use the little or no exercise setting) Maybe you're calculated too high? Or maybe you're not eating enough?

Maybe your body is just taking a break from actual fat loss and is currently busy redistributing. LOL But if you're getting smaller and new things are fitting, you've got to be doing something right.
