Really YEAH Annie! When jeans are too loose just after being cleaned, you know you are winning.

My NSV - last night I saw myself reflected in a window. I was standing with my heels and knees together, and there was light showing between my thighs.

to all you JUDDDers who are rocking the NSVs!

I was just shopping in my closet and found a terrific suit that I'd forgotten all about. I figured there was no way it would fit but...it was just right. Fully lined jacket and pants. Gorgeous. Way too warm for summer.

Here's the fun part: I was busy admiring myself when I realized the suit will be way too big when winter rolls around. I said a bad word, then I laughed my shrinking butt off

Alcestis, maybe you can wear it in the air conditioning! I agree, it's great to know that it'll be too big for you here soon.

Oh no! Not a bad word! How shocking Alcestis.

Oh yes, unless you can visit me here in the UK this is not going to get a lot of wear before it is much too big for you.

Maybe go to some smart air conditioned restaurant on an UD perhaps?

I say we find local tailors/dressmakers... I have the same situation (yay!)-- bought a suit, way on sale, and it's a 22... it was a bit big to start with, and now it's definitely too big (and I've not worn it yet b/c I work at home almost all the time... but it was SOOOO CUTE) and now I'm waiting till I'm a 20 or 18 or maybe 16 and I'll have it totally taken in.

So-- shop in the closet, decide what's worth keeping/investing in making SMALLER-- money well spent!

I still think we could have a clothing exchange... I've got some 22's to give away, anyone interested please PM me

A clothing exchange is a great idea! Last night someone recommended a great tailor to me, so that's a good option too. Love that closet shopping

Alcestis, Nancy, I love these. Thanks. My goal will be to see light between my thighs in a great suit.
Here's my NSV. I'm traveling and have no scale. I wanted to stay committed and motivated, so I brought a pair of too small capris with me, just to look at in my suitcase every morning. I started trying them on (a yamyam thing). I can hardly believe this, but two days ago I had to buy a belt for them. I didn't want to mention this earlier, because I figured it was too good to be true, but I'm wearing them now, after yesterday's apple-pie-and-ice-cream-and-butter-drenched-toasted-ciabatta UD. This Juddd thing is amazing.
Have a great day, everybody.

I had an NSV last night. I was craving Coke and decided I was going to have one. My hubby brought home a six pack of 24oz bottles (I TOLD him to only bring me ONE). I drank half of one bottle and gave it to him to finish. I just didn't WANT it! I used to drink 6-8 cans of Coke a day so I'm VERY, VERY happy that I'm to the point where I could give it away!

Oh, and even with the Coke I only went over my UD calories by 23!!!! All in all, a very good day!

Someone called me "slim" the other day. That was a surprise, especially since I am still technically overweight, but I guess in comparision to 30 pounds ago I look slimmer.

Also - I guess this is technically a SV (not a NSV) - but I was surprised to bypass what I thought would be a major 'set point' - the scale jumped right past it - I think I'd attribute that to the effectiveness of JUDDD at getting past set points.

Wonderful NSV's and I was almost ill laughing about 'thigh light'. Avicenna, I love your SV too. I agree that set points don't see so bad on JUDDD.

Yesterday I had so many compliments on my size, that it was embarrassing. I was with 50 or so friends we have known for 40 years, some of whom I hadn't seen for up to 12 years.

I'm still waiting for the day I'm blinded by the thigh light. For some odd reason (and because my body composition sucks), this close to goal my inner thighs are still like two squishy balls that overlap each other. No light to be seen here.

This thread continues to be so inspiring and I love reading everyone's NSVs!

Love the thigh light, love the smaller capris, love the compliments!

I have a couple today. It was our annual church picnic and I went, wearing a pair of crop jeans, hot pink flats and a hot pink top with pink jewelry. DH looked me over when I came out dressed this morning and said, "you know, you really have style." Wow!!

Then at the picnic one of the men told my husband I looked fine. As in fine, hot, sexy. DH was very clear on the inflection that the guy used when he said it. and at the same time pleased and joyful about it. There was no weirdness about it or anything.

Lastly, DH wanted to go to the art festival in town and I did not want to go because I have my next project percolating in my head and didn't want the distraction of seeing a bunch of other people's art while I'm formulating my next piece. So I asked him to drop me off at the park...I had my iPhone to play music, my journal and my kindle, so I could occupy myself for as long as necessary.

When he came back to pick me up, I was swinging. I haven't swung in a child's swing for more years than I care to count. But I was thinking that I'll bet I'd fit in those swing seats again now, and I did, so I started swinging. It was so much fun and I felt so young. JUDDD is making me act like a kid again!!!!
