I love the pic, Luna! I have found myself much more willing to do things I would never have done before I lost the weight. Like paddle boating with the dc, skating, laser tag, and go-karting. I NEVER would have done those things before. I would be the one on the side lines taking pics. LOL
Will look for the ring guards to try. My wedding ring is a size 7. I doubt it could fall off my hand but it's always turned to the side or even backwards and drives me nuts. WTG on the size 4's Tina! Depending on the brand and style I can wear 4's and 6's. And some dresses I get are 8's for the length. Why do clothing manufacturers think if you're a size 6 or 4 you must be shorter than the person wearing an 8 or 10? I still get half my tops in medium. I just like some of them to have a loser fit and I like to layer. When i look in the mirror I still don't see myself as thin. Yeah.....from the waist up, I'm very small. But from the waist down through my thighs I still see myself as overweight. It's just not in sync with the rest of me. But that's silly and maybe just a little vain. Like my dh sarcastically asks.....what do I want to be? A size 0? LOL Oh and here's my NSV for the day.....dh has been so impressed with my new WOE that he decided to try it and is in his 3rd week JUDDDing. He tried off and on last year to lose weight. He did manage to lose 30 pounds but then just kept going up and down the same 10 pounds. Today, he had to put a new hole in his smaller belt. And when he was loading 50 lb feed bags today I could actually see the muscles in his arms. Even though he doesn't have a lot to lose, his arms, chest, & stomach carried most of his weight and you just couldn't see the muscle under this layer of fat that wouldn't budge no matter what he tried. I'm so proud of him and thrilled that it's really starting to show! And we get to go to a waffle fundraiser dinner on Wednesday and eat together without guilt or going off plan. |

Ready gals? When I did the laundry last week, I....... (ready for this? Are you sure?)
Put my jeans (shorts, regular and capris) into the DRYER. Yep, that dreaded machine that does nothing but shrink and make too tight all things cotton based. And the first pair I put on were my "small" jeans - you know, same size as the others but fit smaller? And they fit straight out of the dryer just fine and dandy! Also - we went to a local buffet for "brunch" today, I had one plate - that I only ate about 2/3rds of and desert, and now 7 hours later I am still full. I did my best to count it, and I just have to say it is shocking how much I must have eaten before. Yikes! Still have to figure out how to get 500 more calories in today, but I am thinking an adult beverage or two might help in that direction, since the last thing I want is to eat....

Wonderful NSV's!
Luna, I love the pic. Saw it earlier, and looked at it a couple times tonight, before I could take my eyes off you and notice that there actually is a train in the distance! LOL You look like you are having so much fun. Kathy, that is great about your DH. I think the body image just sort of comes with time, and a lot of positive self-talk. I catch myself looking critically too, and try to reign it in. Do I still have areas I need to work on? Sure. But I've come so far, and need to remember that I HAVE had 4 dc, so I will simply not be able to look like I did pre-kids without way more work than I'm willing to put into it. Marianne! Yay for fresh out of the dryer fit! Don't be surprised if you will be soon putting away those 'less tight' pants in the right size. When I shopped in Dec I bought 4 pairs of size 8's, and 2 of them were a bit larger, 2 a little snug. The larger ones had to be put away because I couldn't keep them up. And the tighter ones are now loose.

When I was doing a little pedicuring yesterday, I noticed that I can bring each knee up against my chest - there must be some shrinkage in my stomach, boobs, or legs that's making it possible!

That was big one for me a couple months ago, when I realized I was tying my tennis shoes without crossing my legs. I was able to pull my knee to my chest and tie my shoes like a "normal" person.

![]() ![]() ![]() Although, there IS a downside to all this weight loss. I have noticed that the wooden pews at church are MUCH more uncomfortable these days--there's bones on my bottom I'd forgotten about, and my shoulder blades dig in to the back of the pew. I think I fidget more than the kids do. LOL |

I have been trucking along doing JUDDD for 3 months and never could understand all of the appetite suppression talk since I NEVER have any. Saturday was an UD and I ate only what I had planned and not all of it. Wasn't hungry. Yesterday was a DD and I got up later than usual and wasn't hungry and was planning on eating later. Later never came and I had nothing at all yesterday exept water. Not hungry. Wasn't hungry this morning either but I ate my 2 eggs anyway. Has the JUDDD "magic" FINALLY arrived? Let's hope I am not just getting sick or something. Whatever it is I will take it.

Showcats, as to weight loss affecting BP, I was on two different BP meds for a few years and still running 150s-160s over 100s. After about 10 weeks of very low carb and being able to ride an exercise bike (medical issues make a lot of working out, and even walking more than a couple of hundred feet not doable), I've dropped 30 pounds and am now on ONE med for BP, and it's cut to half the dosage it was, and my BP is running 107-116 over 70-74 last few visits. Good luck and let us know when you get the official word from your docs!

Got my license renewed today, and I actually LIKE my photo! Can definitely see the differences from 6 years ago when I was so much heavier. I think I look so much younger now than then. I wanted someone to ask for my id at the store just so I could show it off. ROFLOL
