![]() And I didn't even think about the red face thing. I had started looking like I had been exercising really hard in the heat at times. My face would be really red for whatever reason. I have not seen a red face at all lately. Need to have my BP checked so I can see if I am back down to low average as opposed to high average. I always had really low BP until I had my only child at 40 and then it has been higher. I sure have a lot of things to thank that boy for it seems. But I would not take the world for hm.Quote from alcestis: Yesterday I ended up shopping in my closet and found a whole bunch of skirts and dresses that fit or are a tad too big now Love JUDDD!!! It looks like you did what I did and waited too long to check out the old closets. I had not idea I was already down enough to wear my old things. (although some of those things still have tags on them)

I love reading everyone's success stories here!
It sounds like JUDDD might be helping us in many more ways than weight loss which is fantastic! I am also looking forward to checking out my own closet in a few more weeks! |

It's so interesting to me how different body types and "designers" give you different sizes. I am evenly proportioned (used to be called "long and lean"), small on top. Can't wait to go closet shopping, since I have two closets of really good clothes. Anyway, my non-scale victory is that ****** says my BMI is now where it should be.

I just discovered yesterday I can bend over into my chest freezer and get a ham off the bottom floor without straining and without my gut getting painfully crushed in the process. That's a change!

Woohoo Buttoni! Ease of movement is a great NSV.
I am getting very close to not being able to wear my wedding rings without having them sized. I've been keeping a close eye on how loose they are, and they've been spinning around and been easy to remove for quite some time, but wouldn't fall off. Today I noticed if I shook my hand hard, they would likely fall off. And I have to be VERY careful when washing my hands since the soap makes it extra slick. I think I'll put them in my jewelry box until I can get to a jeweler.

I reached up last night to scratch my neck and felt all these weird bumps...I can feel my spine! The bumps were vertebrae. I actually have bones in my neck--who knew?
Odd nsv, I know, but I was very surprised and moved that my body is starting to look like a normal woman's body. I've been so fat for so long that I've forgotten so much. It's such a gift. How amazing. |

Ok this is a tad embarrassing, but what the heck. Many years ago I was really really really thin, and I am short and my legs are short - so it is hard to find pants. So I bought these jeans in the kids department, not juniors - KIDS lol - I just found them in my closet and tried them on and they fit with ease! I remember trying them on a year ago - and they were really tight in the tummy and made a mark - not the case now! I think these things are at least 10 years old if not older!

Bought a smaller size!!!
I was at the mall yesterday to get the battery replaced in my watch, then I went into stores I have avoided at my larger size. I am consistently fitting into medium tops which is mind blowing for someone who was at one time a 2X. I used to hate looking for clothes now I am excited!

Whoo Hooooo! I love this thread.
Luna I am embarrassed to say that I sometimes lie in bed feeling bones that I had forgotten I had, I know this is DH's job, but he is 71, lol. Cindy. You are our little mascot girl. Better with age, I fear shopping is the only down side of JUDDDing. We love to shop now! |

I love so much reading all this^^^^^^^and am reminded what a thrill it has been along the way to run across something in my closet that I used to feel depressed about when I saw it knowing I had "outgrown" it and would reluctantly try it on just to find out "IT FIT" Yiiiiiiiiippppeeeeee!!!! That's almost as much fun as shopping & buying new stuff!!! So happy for all the good news.

I love ducking in here and reading about everyone's success, especially the shopping, either from the store or from the back of the closet!
----------------------------------------------- Someone I haven't seen in a few months told me I looked so healthy and radiant that I am actually glowing! How cool, because I do feel a renewed vitality, my skin and hair look wonderful, but love that it shows on the outside as well as being how I feel on the inside! |

I've noticed a continued improvement in my skin, too! The redness is almost completely gone. I went out with DH for coffee and for a walk without any makeup on (except for eyeliner and mascara). Not so long ago I wouldn't step out of the house without my high-coverage makeup on.
I'm glad to hear others are experiencing this and its not just in my head. |

My pink jeans, size 12, that have always been my tightest, are getting looser in the waist. They button MUCH easier with the last 12# dropping off. I may have to move into a smaller size jeans soon
They're my favorite jeans so ditching them soon will be such sweet sorrow. |

So many great and uplifting NSVs here! Love this thread.
I like being able to feel my bones too along with the muscles I've developed. Weird but it just feels neat. What do you all do with your rings? Last year before I started losing weight I was wearing my mom's wedding rings. Then at some point I'd lost enough to wear my own again. Now they are too big but I'm reluctant to get them sized down. I have quite a few really nice rings that were my mom's that will one day go to my girls. I'd love to wear them but they are all too big. I was thinking of trying ring guards so they would fit better but could revert back to the original size if needed. Anyone try these? |

I've tried the ring guards and don't like them. They feel weird to me. I just don't wear my rings anymore and figure when I'm at goal, I'll get them resized and have even greater motivation to not gain.

I want to have mine resized, but will wait until summer because my hands tend to swell in the heat. With the cold (especially on dd's), I'm going to need to start removing them. So far, they won't slide off on their own, but it is almost to that point.
What's funny is, I hadn't worn my wedding band for a while because it was too small, and broke down a year ago and had it sized up. If only I'd have waited. LOL |

Awesome whoo hoo, Buttoni! You'll soon be ditching those pink 12's for even smaller ones, so enjoy them while you can. ![]() Quote:
I've felt some muscles I didn't know I had either, and it catches me off guard, especially since I don't exercise much. I just attribute it to the fat-burning, muscle-sparing effect of JUDDD/IF. I don't wear rings or much jewelry at all other than necklaces sometimes, so sorry, I don't know about the ring guards or anything.

I have now quit diet coke followed by coffee and never even had a headache. I quit the coffee because I also quit Splenda and actually did not want the coffee then. Even with using a different AS. So I am saving 120 calories every morning and I can now have TWO eggs on DD for brekfast. YEA!!!!
Look how much money I will save. I was an avid diet coke drinker too. Here's to healthy living. Except I still love my candy. |
