DD for me...

B: coffee w/ h&h (63)
L: low sugar oatmeal (120)
D: venison stew, a slice of light bread w/butter spread (215)

...and a hard filled candy. I had a coughing fit at work and one of the ladies at work gave me one. I popped it in without really thinking.

Still have a handful of calories left...not sure what (if anything) I'll do with them.

Happy V Day, BUDDDs!!

DD for me today since yesterday turned into an UD. So far, so good. I'm at about 400 calories which includes a protein shake, various deli meats with some cream cheese, one slice of cheese. I also had a strawberry that was just dipped at the tip. I really was not sure whether this was going to be a down day or up day. Our wedding anniversary(29 years) is on Saturday, so I am going to need to do some switching up to make sure Saturday is an up day for me.

Happy Valentine's Day.

DD:

B: Small Skinny Flat White coffee
L: Hot & Sour Soup
S: 2 rice crackers & smear of liverwurst pate
D: Stir-fried chicken and veggies, little bit of a mongolian sauce & 50gms of rice (had the rice after - I was still hungry!)

480 cals - my DD are quite high at the moment - oh well - still within 500.
The good news is that leftover veggies and chicken - have gone towards a soup for next DD - which by the time I add a tin of toms will be a total of 300 cals - and good for lunch and dinner!

I love reading your menus becaue you make me feel normal. Everyone is so good around here..eating chicken breasts and salads. It warms my heart to see someone else eat a cheeseburger, chocolate, or wine!

Gluc pudding made with coconut water, light fusion, egg whites and gluc. 75 calories
miso soup for lunch
dinner was a can of French onion soup with 1 oz chicken and half cup mushrooms added
at work had a half T peanut butter and I had 2T fat free half and half

400 so far and may have a sf jello with some cottage cheese. Will put me at 440 for the day.
and today was rough. The toughest day I have had. I don't know if its because I changed my rotation or tom is close or what but it was tough. I'm glad its almost over.

Not to worry...I'm usually good for some not-so-religiously-healthy foods on my UDs. I just don't typically post what I'm eating on my UDs, because I'm a little embarrassed that I eat the way I do yet still expect to lose weight!

Of course, I am still losing weight, though.

I love JUDDD!

DD here

B: black coffee (5) and 1 Vday chocolate (40?)
L: oatmeal (120) & coke zero
D: grilled cheese sandwich (230)

that's close to 400 so I'll have room for a skinny cow ice cream or 2 rice cakes later with a herbal tea.

this was a very easy DD, I actully found yesterday extremely hard and wasn't able to stay at 1850 (I was higher)...oh well, it's all practise

Haha, bad girls unite!

I try to estimate that I'm eating healthy 75% of the time, but who knows what the % really is since I don't track it. But I do think too much of anything is bad, and that includes healthy food!

Seriously, I just enjoy some of everything and go by what I'm feeling like eating. Often that's very healthy fare but other times it's a Big Mac and fries.

This is me! I don't want to stray too far off a healthy eating course (just cause I feel better when I do), but man, sometimes a girl just has to have 2 egg Mcmuffins!

My weakness is mango habanero wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. You'll see that on my meal plan at least every couple of weeks. I have Wendy's chili often (up days and down days) and In N Out, Carl's Jr., etc. I'm probably not the poster child for healthy eating, but I sure enjoy my UDs and continue to lose! Oh, and the wine, can't forget the wine!

Glad to see it! I'm another one who does not want to give up wine. I haven't had ANY in the past few weeks. I am itching for a glass with some goat cheese on crackers, with fig butter, and a 100 cal dark chocolate bar. I also like the spanish tapas cheeses on cracker with a touch of fig butter. I could live on wine, cheese, fruit, and chocolate. Too bad there isn't a diet for that.

I am almost ashamed to enter yesterday's food, but I will because then you'll all feel that you eat healthily!

B 2 slices wholemeal toast with butter and Marmite. (Well that was healthy)
L TGIF, I shared a rack of baby ribs, fries and onion rings with a friend, diet coke.
S 1 large glass of Pinot Grigio blush with olives
D homemade chicken curry and rice, second helping. 4 english pancakes with splenda and lemon juice. 4 large glasses of white wine. Dark chilli chocolate. More dark chill chocolate.

told you you'd all feel better about your eating habits.

Thank heavens for Down Days.

Tomorrow is an UD for me too, and I have an evil plan brewing *rubs hands together while cackling*

What if we tried something different on here just for kicks - I'm thinking it would be fun to have a little "party" here on JUDDD once in a while, where those who want and are on UDs could eat similar indulgent things for at least one meal that day and then post about how much we're enjoying the decadence!

We could do a French themed one tomorrow like you guys mentioned with the cheese, wine, fruit, chocolate, crackers, good breads, etc. Those who want it lower carb could do more butter, evoo, (and duck fat? ).

Another day could be "American picnic" with hotdogs or burgers, chips, potato salad, baked beans, etc. for a meal. Or "Fast Food" with of course, a meal of your favorite fast foods. "Pizza party" is another theme, you get the idea.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands, lol. But it sounds kinda fun.

We could start a separate thread about it or just post along in the daily food thread...

Just a thought. At any rate, I'm off to the grocery store for some goodies!

I think that's a great idea! It is kind of like a potluck for UDs. It can be it's own thread! We could do 2 a week? Let's come up with menu items at the beginning of the week and then we can pick and choose from the items listed. Then it might be easier to plan for when people are grocery shopping? Like we could do a mexican food day with chicken chimis (you can broil these instead of fry), tacos, black beans or refried, etc.

I'm in for tomorrow's French day. I have water crackers, goat cheese, fig butter, blueberries, raspberries, wine, and dark chocolate. What else do we add to the menu?

I just thought of something...I make a mean artichoke bruschetta. It's delicious if you LOVE garlic.

1 bottle of marinated artichokes, drained and minced
1 roma tomato (half beefsteak), seeded and finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped red onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4-1/2 cup of fresh grated parmesan
2 tbsp mayo (I think you could do part mayo, part olive oil, as well. You just don't want it too loose).

Toast baguette slices with olive oil. Top with artichoke mixture. You don't have to heat it up, but you can.

Something tells me you're a fount of wonderful recipes!

Thank you, I will be trying this!
