New Week, What are your goals?

Hi everyone!

So, I havent been dropping the lbs like my hubby has on JUDDD so I am making a few adjustments this week.

My goals:
Make sure I am drinking my fluids
Drink fewer adult beverages
I already exercise but am going to add in an hour of walking twice a week at my son's soccer practice.
Write down what I eat in a book with a pencil as I think I do better doing it that way then ONLY using ******. [although I will also still use ******]

What are your goals this week?

:shake:

sophiethecat 02-12-2012 08:30 AM

Hi LilMiss, this planning sounds like a great idea. :)

-get in at least 3 exercise days this week. I mostly do gentle type exercise but I've been pretty consistent and it's making a difference. :)

-keep going to bed earlier (I've had improvement in this area despite a night or two of staying up way too late, but overall it's better). I feel and look better when I get to bed at a decent hour.

-less PUFAs (I think that's what they call the bad fats and oils like soybean, corn, vegetable, etc.). I usually do really good in this regard since I cook so much at home but the last couple FDs I've used some shortcut ingredients (Ritz crackers, stir-fry sauce packet, fast food) that weren't the best, so I want to get back to consistently eating less of those.

-this isn't diet related, but I really would feel better if I started getting more organized in the house keeping and with paperwork and stuff. And try to get a little bit done 5 days out of the week instead of thinking I have to do it all at once and then feeling overwhelmed.

Great goals Sophiethecat, I am gonna steal some of those! All goals are welcome here! :D

I especially like the less PUFAs, I need to look at that in my own life...

My goal is the same as it has been when I started - to fit back into a pair of jeans (pre vanity sizing) that I just love. I'm down to 165 and still can't wear them comfortably but at least now I can get them buttoned and zipped.

WWC 02-12-2012 10:08 AM

:goodpost: I need to get my UD calories in gear. I'm fine until late afternoon and then I'm ravenous. It's the worst time for me and seems to be getting worse each UD.

adillenal 02-12-2012 10:47 AM

Goals for this week:

1. Drag out my ttapp tapes (yes tapes. That is how long I have been doing ttapp off and on)
2. Actually start ttapp at least 15 minutes a day. It will take me awhile to get back into it.
3. Continue drinking water this week. I started drinking more last Thursday and I will continue.
4. Continue to go to bed at 9pm. I get up at 5 to do chores etc and the couple of nights I went to bed at 9 (or earlier) last week made a difference in how I felt the next day. I don't do well without 8 hours of sleep.
5. Review my Lean for Life menus from years ago when I lost really well. Maybe I can incorporate them into my UD's.

cherryhair 02-12-2012 10:47 AM

Exercise 5X's this week only add back cals on UD
Keep a strict rotation
Stop weighing everyday-after every other DD

mykidsteacher 02-12-2012 01:01 PM

Good idea:

1)stay out of the cookie jar--my dd made these amazing peanut butter cookies. I've only had 3 so far, but I can see me reaching for them way too much. So no more! (Blood sugar reasons, not weight reasons).

2)keep up the good exercise momentum I started last week

3)get to bed by 10:30

Luna Loca 02-12-2012 02:17 PM

Get back to exercising 5-6 days a week the way I was before I got this horrible head cold.

Keep going with my rotation.

Get all my calories in on UDs. I tend to stay in "diet" mode and when I log all my food in I often find I am hundreds of calories low. Then I'm extra hungry the next DD.

Carmiel 02-12-2012 07:00 PM

This will be my first week of JUDDD, after 43 days of the HCG protocol, I am looking forward to eating what I want again.
  • I am going to alternate every other day between 1750 calories and 500 calories.
  • I am going to stick to the HCG P3 protocol of no sugar, no starches.
  • I am going to do my two regular weekly workouts and I AM going to get up early next Saturday and make it to Saturday Boot Camp.

Me too, and that's my goal this week too. Respecting the UDs! I now finally understand why people like the DDs better. :)

woo hoo!! Love this. Reminds me I need to focus on more than just the scale. Thanks for that reminder!

gotsomeold 02-18-2012 06:11 AM

Great news Bonnie!!! Goal achieved:jumpjoy::clap::jumpjoy::clap::jumpjoy:!!!

Now, what are your revised goals?

WWC 02-18-2012 06:14 AM

I did do better with my UDs this week. Yesterday was a bit of a mixed bag as we went on a day trip (out to breakfast, nuts for snacking and out for dinner.) However, we walked and walked and walked. So I'm sure it balanced out.

For this next week, I am going to continue to manage them closely and get three days of exercise in.

itsmeshelly01 02-18-2012 07:32 AM

My goals this week are to continue with the wonderful JUDDD rotation.
Eat at least 500 on DD's
Eat 1800 to 2000 on UD's
Exercise everyday, which i always do anyway. Maybe i will be good to myself and take 1 day off!!! LOL
Drink my water
Love my family and enjoy my family, they are wonderful!!!

Sweety0107 02-18-2012 09:01 AM

My goals this week are to:
1- Stick with the program- staying motivated by staying in touch on this board
2- Drink tons of WATER
3- Keep trying!!!! Never giving up!!! :shake:

:jumpjoy::eek::clap::up: congrts Bonnie !!!

My goal is to stay within my UD calories  I had an up up and away day yesterday...DDs are definitely easier!

SummerAnne 02-19-2012 12:35 PM

First full week for me!
-Survive my DDs
-Avoid eating completely unhealthy on UDs (still getting my calories of course)
-Stick with logging my food on *** (I usually quit after 3-4 days anytime I've tried this in the past)

sophiethecat 02-19-2012 12:48 PM

I'm going to incorporate another goal this week:

Replace some of the coffee I drink with green and/or black tea.

I already started doing it some this week and it's worked out well. I have to have some AS in my tea though - don't enjoy it plain black like I do the coffee. Maybe I will start using a little honey instead of the AS, as I don't want to overdo the AS (which would then lead to another goal of reducing AS consumption! )

Updates:
1) no problem. I haven't had a cookie all week.
2)done. Switched days around, but got in all my planned exercise
3)maybe 3/4 met. I'm actually getting sleepy around 9 these days. Tonight I have to finish lesson plans, so it might push till 11 before I'm in bed. Last night, I was asleep before 9:30. LOL

So, new goals:
1)keep up the momentum with 2 and 3 from last week
2)detox from my weird eating this past week and get back to primal and respecting my UD/DD calories
3)spend less time online, more time in life. (totally not diet related, but something I need to work on still the same)

oneoftwo 02-19-2012 08:25 PM

This last week has been really bad, not counting UD or DD and really no exercise, I was not feeling 100% all week. Bad on track this week

Drink more water
Weigh in tomorrow (been scared to step on the scale this week!)
Start tomorrow with a good DD
Starting my next 30 day Challenge with Jillian Michaels

I made all of my goals last week :jumpjoy: I have decided to up my UD calories to 1900 based on a little more research and from what I have read here we have to eat on UD's!

This weeks goals are more of the same. I haven't seen any weight loss yet but I haven't seen any gains either, I am pretty much maintaining which okay with me for now. I have lost 40 pounds since October so I am thinking my body probably could use a rest anyhow.
