Another FD although I would like it to be a DD just because I'm ready for a break in the eating (crazy as that sounds). I usually do a FD on Sat and Sun and then have M-W-F as DDs, but I feel like I've eaten all the foods I want for a day or so, lol. Anyway, I will stick to my usual rotation because tomorrow is best as a DD and I need Tues. as a FD.

B
-Irish B'fast Tea blended with some mint green tea

L
-probably garden salad with avocado, tomato, cottage cheese, and other fat and protein fixins in it.

D
-Chili at my Gma's house and I will take the leftover hush puppies to crumble into it! Mmmm.

Lovely family lunch today, goats cheese salad, roast pork, Yorkshire pudding, all the trimmings, cheese, bread, chocolate mints and red wine. *** say around 1500. I may add a couple of hundred calls as I don't exactly know what they cook stuff with.

I don't expect to eat much else today, cup of tea perhaps, and maybe some soup.

Happy Sunday everyone.

1:20 just had some break n bake choc. chip cookies fresh from the oven with a cup of whole milk (and now having a couple cups black coffee). I ate 2 of the cookies - tasted like heaven... went back for 2 more. The 3rd tasted "just OK" and by the time I'd finished it, a 4th couldn't even interest me and is sitting there on the plate, soon to be returned to the kitchen.

I love that I'm more aware of my body and appetite and all that, and can actually stop eating something when satisfied and not just keep shoveling it in because it's there (like I would do in the past sometimes!)

I'm going to have 2 (or possibly 3) atkins shakes. Can't do without my coffee, and each cup has 10 cals. I've had 3 cups coffee and 1 160cal shake so far. It's only 12:30 here!

I'm not as hungry today as I was my first DD, and I lost another .8#'s from my UD yesterday. That's a total of 4#"s since Thursday when I had my first UD! Am I excited, or what??? Just hope most of it sticks.

Up day today.

B: 2 fried eggs, 3 bacon strips, 1 slice raisin bread w/cinnamon butter

L: 1 gelbwurst (veal bologna) & mayo sandwich on 7-grain. 1/2 of a liver sausage (pork/veal/goose) & mayo sandwich. 6 squares Ritter chocolate (less then half a bar). Made a pilgrimage to the German deli, lol.

D: We are going to the Centennial celebration downtown. Planning to eat something there.... a smoked turkey leg or Navajo taco. Probably a few bites of whatever sweet thing my daughters get.

Yesterday was my second DD. I struggled with what to feed my family (my husband and I both work at home).

So I created with the help of ****** a beef veggie stirfry. The entire pan came to 963 calories, and we fed 5 people on it. They all had regular rice, i used Miracle Rice. My serving was under 200 calories (*whew* since I'd had 88 calories at breakfast.)

I got nasty (ok, nastier) as the day wore on. My poor darling husband was doing his best to keep me happy. But a glass of chocolate soy milk saved my marriage and my total for the day was 441 calories

TODAY:
Had a charming breakfast with my 25 year old daughter who's been accepted to a program at Oxford . So we went to our local pub (here in the middle of US) and had a full English breakfast. For those who don't know it's baked beans, grilled tomato, sauteed mushrooms, Cumberland breakfast sausage, thick slice of bacon all over a slice of Sour Dough bread. (of course I washed it down with a spectacular Bloody Mary!)

So far today I'm at 900+ calories and it's 1:30 pm.

I've sorted out my snack food for the day and set it aside. Dinner will be left overs. I think I can make it to 2,000.

Here's hoping!

Oxford, how exiting. Love the full English, but what about the fried eggs and the black pudding? Not sure the average British "greasy spoon" has ever heard of Sour Dough bread, would probably serve pretty rubbish white sliced, I'll have the Sour Dough anytime, thanks.

Well done a good DD, even at the risk of a broken marriage.

AH! I forgot the two fried eggs! Yes, they were included (both in my breakfast and my calorie count!) But no, no blood pudding here. However, two years ago my daughter was in Kent for a semester and had a regular pub (The Bat and Ball) and they convinced her to try blood pudding. Once. And only a taste

DD here - I love Sundays as DDs, they are SUPER easy bc I all the time and and tools to make good low cal food.

B: pancake w/SF syrup (160)
L: carrot & celery soup (60)
D: romaine lettuce w/celery & feta vinegar dressing (100)

that's only 320 so I'll have skinny cow ice cream (90) and/or caramel rice cake (50) as my evening snack(s)

and I'll probably drink lots of herbal tea throughout the day to get re-hydrated (had 2 beers yesterday )
