Help, trying to juggle several days to change up
hubby is JUDDDing with me and doing just fine, but he has a week of crazy starting today, and it won't be possible to stick to just up and down days on schedule. Can anyone help look at this and figure out how to juggle? there is no way today or this weekend can really be down days. do you just do medium days? just eat and start back with a down day on Monday? we tried talking it out and gave up at bedtime last night. all help and opinions appreciated.

thursday (yesterday) was up day
realized friday (today) he has a full work day, gets an hour off, then has to go work til almost 3a.m. and CANNOT have low blood sugar for that, then has to work a trade expo sat (tomorrow) from 8am to 5pm with lunch and dinner that he has no control over.
sunday will still have out of towners here for breakfast & lunch
monday and tuesday have no conflicts
wed he has oral surgery which should be a down day since he can't eat
th and fri should still be affected post surgery.

I think I'd just try to make today a MD, Sat and Sun UD, and back to DD on Monday. UD Tues, DD Wed for the surgery, and then play Thurs and Fri by ear depending on what he can eat, but not really worrying much about cals because his body will need it for healing.

And then get back on the wagon good next weekend.

"Life happens" doesn't it? WHAT a hectic week!

I like Tina's plan.

Speaking from experience, once he gets back on rotation, any weight that sneaks on during this complex week, will sneak right back off again.

I'll be dealing with the same sort of thing this coming week. Any meals I can fast that's what I'm going to do (but I don't have blood sugar problems). And the meals I have no control over I will eat as sensibly as I can, enjoy what's served, but not stuff myself. Then get right back to it on Sunday, the only day I'll be in control all day.

Thanks all!

Kathy--I'm in the same boat this week. I need an UD lunch on Wed, and UD lunches on Sat and Sunday as well. I haven't yet figured out how to make that happen.

Great ideas, Tina. :)

Also, MUDDDg is a great option to get you through these wild n crazy times! :) http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/ju...xperiment.html

Oh, I so agree with Sophie about MUDDDing. If it weren't for MUDDDing, I would not have made any sort of progress last weekend.
I was back down on Monday when all the craziness was over.

Funny, this weekend promises the same type of schedule, and I much prefer MUDDDing to MDs. Last weekend was my first time doing MUDDD, and it worked out really sweet!

I ended up with yesterday being a md for us, and my weight stayed exactly the same to the ounce. All data is interesting to me at this point!
