Questions about JUDDD
Hi! I am seriously thinking about trying this way of eating. I have been doing the HCG and have lost 40 pounds, but I am having a hard time staying on.
Two questions -
Does it work if you have thyroid problems? Or if you are like me and have no thyroid. (My meds are at the right dosage)
Can you choose which days you want as your up day? For example Saturdays, or do you simple do the every other day.
Thanks so much!

having done a number of rounds of hcg over the last several years, my experience is that that makes doing down days super easy. the only issue I have had is adjusting the idea that down days (vlcd) don't have to be non fat.
I don't think anyone can tell you that any "diet" will work for everyone. But if you work with your body, focus on nutrition each day whether up or down, and don't binge on junk which helped you get overweight, you ought to see some kind of positive benefit.
Intermittent fasting is good for healing all sorts of physical issues.
If your meds have you at normal levels and you managed to do hcg without any physiological issues you shouldn't create any doing alternating up and down days.
It is nice to relax on a vlcd and tell yourself tomorrow you can eat normally, eat what you enjoy, and still see the downward trend of loss!
I have just been doing every other day because it hasn't mattered to me which are up or down days, but have seen that some people do one day a week as a medium day to keep themselves on the same day of week up and down schedule.
Find someone to love today, especially yourself.
Eat well and be well! Use your local farmacy! Do more YOGA!

I am post-menopausal and hypothyroid (well-medicated), and had stalled for years on Low Carb. Hcg helped me take the last 50 pounds off, and now JUDDD is doing a superior job of keeping me below goal. It's entirely possible that you can have good results, too. It sure won't hurt to try. (And after 500 cal days on hCG, DDs are usually a snap, 'cause you can always eat tomorrow!)
