It's Friday - what are you eating?

Supposed to be an UD but I ended up having a high/md yesterday so I'm going MD today to "correct" it lol.

B: coffee w/almond milk
D: very lean sirloin w/a spicy orange sauce and green onions (torani s/f orange syrup, crushed pepper flakes, coconut aminos, chicken broth, gluc for the sauce)
S: tuna and lettuce salad w/spray italian dressing

DD-day 24. I have to work on tweaking my UDs a bit. I am finding that midafternoon on UDs are brutal times for me. I could just eat a house. It feels like I am having enough protein early in the day, but I will need to experiment a bit.

Today's food plan

Breakfast--just coffee early, 0%Fage at around 10am

Lunch--Pure Protein vanilla shake

Dinner-- miracle rice with shrimp and spinach and a laughing cow cheese wedge

lots and lots of lemon water with a green tea bag added too
about 340calories for the day

Glad your DH is home, Bonnie.

Hope you are feeling better asap, Shelly.

A much needed DD for me here. I'm only up to 138# after all that FD eating yesterday and the night before, and I feel like I've fed the monster for another month. Hoping, anyway, that he doesn't rear his ugly head again anytime soon.

I love DDs on Friday lately because they are one of my busiest days and I'm away from home more, so it's easier to not focus on food or stomach on Fridays. But we are due to get snow this afternoon/evening/night, so I hope that doesn't mess with the plans. Anyway...

B
-Irish B'fast Tea

L
-Ye Olde Cabbage Skillet Dish, probably tilapia as the protein

S if needed
-red grapefruit

D
-I was going to have small serving of the crockpot pork ribs I'm making, but looking at the calories, I may just put mine aside for tomorrow.
-leftover cabbage/tilapia
-green beans
-beets

S if needed
-Taco Bell Fresco taco
-Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe bar
-popcorn

So far today:

B
-Irish B'fast Tea

L
-well-seasoned cabbage fried with tilapia, shrimp, 2 egg whites for protein.

I had about 1/2 the skillet and I'm stuffed! That protein makes all the difference in the world to me between a DD feeling like suffering and a DD feeling like an UD (well, almost!)

Besides other things I will eat today, I will finish the skillet tonight for dinner.

The whole skillet is 300 calories!

Breakfast was protein shake mixed with water after my workout.

I was out during lunch so I skipped. Funny I was STARVING around 12:30 (I rarely get overly hungry) but by the time I was heading home around 3:30 I was fine. Probably the dress shopping and finding a gorgeous little fitted dress on the clearance rack for $13 did it.....I left with a big smile on my face knowing how great it is going to feel to wear it to a party I'm going to in a couple weeks. LOL

Now that it's past 4 I think I'll just wait until dinner. I still haven't tried the cabbage cheese deal so I'm going for that with shrimp because I just really want to eat some shrimp.

B: Cottage cheese pancakes w/ the most delicious fresh raspberries
S: Babybel cheese light (2) + half small apple
Late L: BAT roll ups (bacon and tomato mixed with avocado/lime (guacamole) and rolled in slice of cheese)
D: Sugar Cookies

I'm at 1457 right now. Yes, sugar cookies are not on Medi...I have no explanation.... I have a total tummy ache though, so I'm paying the price of my indiscretion. Oy.

Food plan update as my day changed.

I had coffee for breakfast
Fage 0% with 1tbl oatfiber for lunch
Dinner was 1.5 cups angel hair cabbage, splash of broth, 3oz. of shrimp, miracle rice and a wedge of laughing cow cheese
So 240-250 cal for the day.

6 p.m. tonight on my drive home, I had a Pure Protein bar because I knew I would not have time to eat when I got home - had to head right out the door again.

10:20 p.m.

Just finished the rest of my tilapia/shrimp/cabbage. Now having a glass or two of wine.

Will finish the day with 730 calories, though I still have over 100 more I could use if I want. Maybe I'll have a grapefruit.

Friday was a down day

90 cal. yogurt
45 cal. soup
50 cal. 1/2 can tuna fish - yep - right out of the can
170 cal. dinner - turnips, sprouts and a lobster tail (they were on sale at Safeway here - never had lobster tail at home - actually turned out pretty good)

I updated my stats. I PUT 202 but the scale this morning showed 200.9. I don't log a number unless I see it twice.

That means I've lost 26 lbs. since Christmas. I hope I continue to rock this JUDDD.
