Need help switching my days

So, I messed up, and had two UD in a row. Not only that, but I have a birthday party to go to on Sunday, and would like to make that an UD.

This is my rotation: 1500/500 calories

Mon: UD - 1018
Tues: DD - 405
Wed: UD - 1222
Thursday: (today) "DD" -1046

I haven't been eating all my UD calories, please don't scold me I'm working on it...

Birthday cake aside, when I mess up like this, how do I fix it? Do I just make the next day a DD?

Thanks for the help

IMO, based on the number of calories you've been eating the past few days, just make tomorrow a SOLID UD. By that I mean, hit that 1500 mark tomorrow. You want Sunday to be an UD anyway, so this accomplishes that. And, even though you feel like you've just done two UDs in a row, you recognize that they haven't really been all that much "up", right? You gotta eat, girl (I'm not yelling at you, just saying...). Don't let your body think you're on a low-calorie diet...show it that you're cycling your calories and eat well tomorrow! Make Saturday a pious DD and then enjoy your get-together on Sunday.

Also, don't beat yourself up over this. JUDDD forgives. One little "oopsie" like this will hardly make a ripple of difference in your success. Carry on!

I just came to check new posts and saw that Andrea said everything I would say here.

No scolding from this direction either - we all have to get used to a new woe when we start, and even from seasoned JUDDDsters there are "mistakes" of all kinds if you can even call them that. JUDDD makes it easier to get back up than most woe! This is just one event in your JUDDD journey, so while it's best to do the regular rotation of UD/DD, we all know that real life doesn't always work so neatly. So we do the best we can and then get back on the rotation.

So, looking things over, except for the DD, you've been eating sort of "medium days", lol so why not get in a full, hearty, nourishing UD tomorrow, then have a DD on Sat, and that will land you right back at the UD you needed for Sun.

Enjoy that bday party!

What Mommie and Sophie said.

The rotation does take getting used to. And I am in total sympathy with finding it hard to eat to UDs (life keeps interrupting my plans). The important thing is to watch and learn and improve and shrink!

Andrea, thanks for asking. I think it went well. I had a lot of potato salad. And *gasp* a red velvet cupcake! Its hard not to feel guilty about this stuff. I'm not sure if I went over my calories, but I'm making today a good dd. I don't weigh until friday, so I'll keep u posted!
