That's my worry too, Ithink. If I go a little lower, in 6 weeks am I going to want to lose more. But I'm at a point where I like how I look in clothes (except for a little bit of belly flab I want to work on), and I like the clothes I have, so don't really want to drop another size and have to buy new stuff again. So I think for me, at this point, it is simply mental because I freak out when I drift above the 125. But it isn't realistic to expect your weight to never fluctuate (although I can stick on the same number for 7-9 days). So if it's going to fluctuate, for me to be able to really relax, I think I need 125 to be the top.

Just checking in with my JBs.
I had one of those moments yesterday when I still can't believe this works!
Last week was more stressfull than usual for me and I ate like crazy on my UDs. Sweets and treats galore. I stuck to my DDs but almost talked myself into throwing one out the window! I called my DH and told him what I was thinking of doing and you know what he said? 'just wait and have it tomorrow'!
I think if I really wanted to mess up a DD I would have just done it. So I stuck it out. So I got on the scale yesterday and I'm still in the same range I have been. Sometimes I can't believe it. It's really quite simple. I think, for me, I'd be crazy to ever give up this woe. Feeling the today!

That is very true! I have lost weight so many times in my life, but never maintained it. This is the first time I have concientiously weighed regularly, and, when I saw a 2-3 extra lbs creep on, a month ago, I put myself back into wlm and it came back down in a matter of days!

It is so nice to happily accept any invitations out, DD or UD, and know that everything in my wardrobe still fits, and that I will feel my best.

I have been maintaining for about 8 months now...and the novelty is nowhere near wearing off!

Love your new avi btw Kissa...wish the sun had lasted here in the UK!

hugs
Jo

You are an example to us all Jo, you always look so gorgeous in your photos.

I am missing the sun too, but it is still very muggy down here in Devon. Enjoy the Jubilee Celebrations.

Measured today (I do it every couple of weeks now) and was rewarded with 1/4" losses in most of my spots from shoulders to thighs! Pretty amazing that even when the scale is steady and constant, body reshaping is still taking place.

I have decided to continue maintaining (or just losing a little bit) for June and buckle down in July. I'm just having too much fun not worrying about my weight, but staying aware of it. I will have another dr. appt. sometime this month and see if I have to add any meds or increase what I'm on. If all's well, I will have no more reason to stall.

Jo, so nice to hear from you,and hear how great you are doing! Such a good example for all of us. Hope all the newbies see this! Always sweet, always beautiful!

Tina, I love how you are losing inches still even in maintenance. I would still like to come down a couple in my waist. So happy for you sweetest heart.

Dawn, you inspire me to no end! You are one of the super-est super-stars in my opinion. LOVE watching your progress. LOVE your determination!

4.8 lbs since May 7th. Technically I'm still in WLM/Maintenance, just at 35-40%. I was averaging 3 lbs/week when I was really doing well, but I'm happy if I maintain and even happier if I continue losing a pound a week while enjoying myself. It's so much more relaxing.

Today June 1 is our wedding anniversary!

I weigh the exact same as I did on May 1.

2 weeks ago i bought a neat pair of summer pants at a church sale, got home, washed them, tried them on and "no-way" did they fit - So tight in the waist, could not sit down in them so I decided to give them to a thinner friend who I will see this coming Tuesday. Today weighing the very same I wore them DH said I looked nice too So for our 49th I wore my new white pants with a bright aqua top

I find this so amazing to be smaller and weighing the same!

Leonak, Happy Anniversary, mine is on 4th June

I love the newly fitting pants, when we are fighting with the scale number something like this is so great. These are the changes the rest of the world sees, after all.

I would be a great addition to the Non Scale Victories thread if you had time.

Just a drive by posting asking for your support. I don't want to start a new thread for this. DH lost his job yesterday. Everything is in flux right now. My eating is way way way whacked out, yesterday I had to eat fast food burgers to get my calories anywhere close to where they should be. I've never had a diagnosed eating disorder before, but I'm fighting eating disorder type symptoms. I'm restricting for punitive and lack of control reasons. Even on an up day.

I usually eat to soothe, so this is different and weird and worrying. It's early in the process yet but I wanted to ask for your support.

DH is good, he's been really hating his job and the stress, so he's feeling a bit like the burden has lifted. Which I'm very glad for. I'm just freaking out over the changes that are coming and those that are here. Lots going on.

I may not be on the board much. I don't know.

If you are so inclined, send a good thought for me, would you? I'd appreciate it. Love you all.

Oh Luna! My heart goes out to you both. What a terrible shock that is. I've had that happen, so has my DH.

I know you are a woman of faith. Hold tight to that. That is the best, experienced advice I can offer. Easier said than done, but do it.

Ongoing prayers for you both. Many hugs, sure wish they could be real ones!

Luna what a terrible time for you and DH. I am sending all my most positive thoughts to you both. At least if he feels relieved to be out of a difficult environment something good has already come from this.

As for your detain issues, try to focus on the simplicity of the JUDDD rotations. Perhaps plan just a few days of simple menus for both Up and Down days and try to eat those without giving it too much thought. Try to take the focus away from food.

I do hope you keep posting here as much as you can, I don't need to tell you how much you are loved and respected here. And, there are so many wise women here who I know will offer you support.

Sending my love.
