So good to see you Sophie, and to read that all is well with you. I haven't been here as much either. I enjoyed reading about how you are living maintenance right now. I hope to get to the point where I don't have to think about it as much too.

Leo, just get back into the rotation. Those 3 pounds will melt away. I chose to up DD's in maintenance because they are the ones I struggle most with. It's actually harder for me to get all my UD cals in, so upping those didn't make much sense for me. You get to choose. Isn't that great?!

It's great to see you too, Tina! Maintenance is a journey in itself to find what works best for us. From your stats, it looks like you are living your goal - wonderful!!

Not doing much of anything special, just rotating ud/dd. UD's in the past week have been 1560, 1672, and 1594. DD's 602, 749 and 655.
I am so with you on both!

Decided to hop onto maintenance; happy here at 144 although I'd love to drop 4 more... just to be at that nice round number of 140. My brain/body needs more calories on the DD and the maintenance numbers work for me.

Appreciate you all -- even if you don't hear from me a lot.

Hugs from Charlotte,
Susan

Sophiecat, so good to see you posting, well and happy. We are all enjoying our journeys in Maintenance, many of us with you as our GURU.

Leo, all of us are different.

I find the DDs at around 5 to 6 hundred pretty easy and I often drop lower. I allow myself to 'drift up' on UDs. This works for me and my 'overindulgences'. I have kept my weight under my goal for most of the past 6 months, so something is working.

I have a long weekend of birthday celebrations coming up. A 2 day break followed by a week in France............... wish me luck.

Yes, yes, "all of us are different"

For me right now if I want to stay my goal weight I feel I have to count calories still as at times I pig out

I do love this WOE as it is the only diet I have been able to reach goal and stay very close to it without going way over and gaining all the weight right back.

The help here is just the best ever

Hi Buddds as I posted earlier I lost 1 1/2 lbs my first week on maintainence.Yay. I have these really lovely blush pink jeans from Old Navy that I also have in black. I can't remember the last time they fit me. Just for the heck of it I tried them on...they fit meI couldn't believe it. I wasn't even trying to get back into those, they were so off my radar. I would never have dreamed I could ever have worn them again. In a couple of weeks I'm off to meet my daughters new BF, I think he's the one. I've been so embarrassed about my weight that I felt uncomfortable just seeing my daughter, like I've let myself go. I've always told her how important it is to take care of yourself and here I was with 30 extra poundsFor the first time in a long time I don't have to panic about what to wear. Or find my black leggings and the longest top I own to cover my behind.its important for us to visit the LC site now and then because that is how some of us found Juddd and I know where I would be if I hadn't found Juddd. And it was a fat place.

SO happy for you Muffabuff!

I just did the same thing. Tried on a dress that was in the back of my closet. Was afraid to try it on because I knew it wouldn't fit and was surprised to discover it fit me even better than when I bought it.

JUDDD rocks!

Probably close to where I was! Near Harrisburg Rd & 485. I was just dreaming of Mint Hill the other day... wondering how my body would deal with the super big pizza at Big Guy's on 51. That's real NY pizza... and bigger than I could ever find when I lived in NY! I'm seriously craving pizza.

Congrats on pulling out that dress from the back of your closet! I'm actually kicking myself for tossing some of my old skinnier clothes - very few remain. I went on a sad cleaning spree back about 60+ lbs ago when I was feeling hopeless. I can't wait to go shopping for new stuff though - waiting for a new Ross that's opening in my area soon.

Sounds like some awesome victories from you too, Muffabuff! Congrats!

As depressed as I was if I threw out everything that didn't fit I'd be wearing a potato sack. I really HAD to lose the weight. I was living in the most ridiculous x lxg sweats from target. I finally threw up my hands and bought a few pairs that were so big if I kept gaining they could still accommodate me. That was a new low for me. When I realized the flowing skirts and long summer dresses didn't hide my butt it was a uh oh moment yet again. I can never truly express my gratitude to you Buddds for visiting the LC site as I probably Never would have discovered Juddd without your giving spirits. I have spent the last two years trying one diet after another and following them to the letter without success. I guess that's why I get a little frustrated with some of the newbies who start tweaking or adding MD their first week. They are so lucky to have found Juddd and the beauty of it is it's simplicity. Perhaps one must be at rock bottom before they are willing to really make weight loss their priority and some don't seem to be there yet. I will continue to encourage them as others have done for me, after all I have two 22 year olds I'm used to talking to myself. This is the first forum I've ever joined and I never dreamed I would find such special women in this medium ( mostly women). You are all very special additions to my life.

I hear ya, Kissa. I haven't been able to post nearly as much lately for many reasons and I admit that I gravitate to the ones I "know" better when I do have a comment. I sure care about one and all, and will try to be better about that. Thanks for pointing this out. Had already felt a little guilt anyway.....not supporting anyone nearly enough! Love you all!

Bless you, I know how busy you all are. It is easy for me as I am retired. The monthly Newbie thread is important too, so many queries there.

I won't be in the country on the 1st July to start a new one for them, any takers?
