Hi all.

Well, I did my 1 month weigh in and I have now lost 5.3 pounds. Not earth shattering but I am content.

I wanted to say to all those slow losers, who are like me, to hang in there. Even though it might not be falling off like it is for some lucky folks, it does work. If you think of it as a life style and not stress about every single weigh in, in the long run I think you will be successful.

Thanks to everybody who encouraged me to stick with it.

I think 5.3 is great for a month. I just can't imagine weighing only once a month. I guess I am just too nosey or obsessed with the scale.:o

I'm so happy you decided to keep at it. 5.3 pounds in a month is better than I was doing on low carb. It's definitely an accomplishment!

Adillenal, I weigh myself once a week( lately more often then that;)) but this is the first time that a significant number has come up. The first couple of weeks I only lost a little over a pound.

My Mom is doing JUDDD and she also is content to lose slowly just as long as the weight does continue to go down and she gets to keep eating anything she wants every other day! :jumpjoy: KUTGW! :high5:

Whoohoo! I am a slow loser too and I have decided that every little bit puts me one step closer - 5.3 is great! In less than 6 months you can be at your goal and every month until then you will be getting better and better...great job!

Hi Irene,

Congrats!! I lost 5lbs in my first month too. I'll be weighing in my second month fairly soon - another 5lbs would be wonderful! I absolutely agree with you about seeing this as a lifestyle / WOE. As long as my weight is going in the downward direction, it feels pretty good!

Wonderful!! I don't like to weigh, so it only happens about every 3 weeks. I haven't lost much since I started in January, but my pants fit better, which is my ultimate goal -- to have comfortable-fitting clothes, but hopefully in a smaller size!! I don't have a weight # in mind for either a goal or how much I want to lose. It's all good! KUTGW!
